You as a youth were subjected to "racially aggravated disorderly conduct" and as such have notionally the protection of the law.
We as Welsh fans do not have to accept racial slurs unless we want to engage in it a ourselves. The option of the law is available to us.
I am making the argument that the sympathy for Kasey (apologies for wrong spelling) is fake. This is because we as fan base are intrinsically racist and sing ethnic slurs as part of our identity.
The Welsh fans sang "we know who we are, we are sheep shaggers off to Qatar". This was internationalising an English slur with pride. "We are into bestially" we sang to the watching billions. No wonder the team wilted. A national embarrassment.
Swansea fans prefer to engage with ethnic slurs rather than highlight them. "Swansea .com home of ethnic slurs". Lineker was wise to know his limits.
So your argument is because a very small minority of fans sing a song which offends you, any Swans fan that isn't basically breaking down the doors of the Liberty in protestation has no right to comment on genuine racism against Kasey ? So likewise any African American who calls himself or his friends by the N word has no right to protest when he or his fellow African Americans get racially abused by Caucasians ? Honestly give your head a wobble mate. You are clearly grasping at straws and my very learned friends are definitely correct when they say you just argue for the sake of it

It is clear from this thread and others that a large number of fans are tolerant of ethnic slurs sung at the Swansea.com stadium. The chants can be heard from far away and on TV suggesting quite high numbers. Of course the fans have a right to profess sympathy with Kasey but I point out to them they are being hypocritical.
The club is in no mood to stamp it out despite protestations of "zero tolerance".
By all means cry a tear for Kasey but then I expect solidarity with my point of view which is ALL ethnic slurs are out of order including the desperately unfunny sheep slurs. This is what I cannot understand. I have a firm set of principles while others in respect of ethnic slurs want to be given plenty of wriggle room, for unknown reasons.
Swansea city football club could state clearly.
"We are strongly against ethnic slurs at Swansea city but will allow traditional ethnic slurs referring to bestially (currently deemed illegal in law) providing they have a traditional historic resonance".
I argue the case of "zero tolerance " and want the people in the north part of the east stand to stop engaging in anti Welsh ethnic slurs.

Wouldn’t you be better off sending your posts on the subject into the police rather than here?
That way something may be done about an issue you care about.
As, in your opinion, it’s such a clear criminal offence there must be a lawyer willing to take it on no win/no fee to make easy buck?

I have v been considering asking for the views of the Police commissioner actually. it remains an option. The issue is actually an issue for the football club. They claim "zero tolerance" but do not act on this principle.
On here I am pointing out the hypocrisy of posters who a selective in their indignation of ethnic slurs elsewhere. Our club needs cleaning up.

Good luck with that.
Look at it sensibly, the away supporters taunt the NE corner who respond. Do you really think anyone is going to empty the away end or NE corner, to eject one or two would be classed as victimisation.
It's never going to happen

Very good idea to ask the police commissioner.
You should do that.

Lineker is a bit of a prat but he's right on this. The LOW is a joke league. Most, if not all teams in it would struggle at National League level.
Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Watched it last night.
Clearly that chant isn’t specific to Swans fans.
It is definitely not. It is used throughout many sports where Welsh players and teams participate and often used by the wider public. If anyone tries to single out any sector for retribution it would be victimisation. Simple as that really never going to happen in a million years, it's best just to move on and let realism sink in.

According to one poster on here i have to accept ethnic slurs against my own people "for my own good".
This is was the message / vibe the zombie Hereford supporter put out about 28 y o or so, 6 ft 3in demented look bulging eyes and neck tattoos. He saw it as an historical right to come to our land insult us and threaten our friends families. The SWP will only prosecute if they are directly affected/ It was "racially aggravated s disorderly behaviour".
It is not acceptable here or in England. Over 50% of our fans doff their cap and engage. Its pathetic.
Nobody doffs their cap, don't be a nitwit! The away fans sing it and the home fans reply. The English side of the bridge gets a hammering!
Considering the things you yourself say about "my own people" I'm surprised you care what other Swansea people think, you've often said how dumb Swansea fans are, in your opinion of course.

And youre offering views on a subject you know very little about again but that’s not a surprise.
The Cymru Premier as it’s called is far from a “ joke league “. And you’ve tried to mock it by saying that most if not all the teams would struggle at National League level. That might be right but there’s no disgrace in that. Maidstone United for example in the sixth tier ( National South ) are a professional club who recently beat Ipswich Town at Portman Road, something that Swansea City didn’t remotely look like doing. TNS recently thrashed and embarrassed a strong Swansea City under 21 side in a cup final. There’s some good sides in North Wales especially.
Only an idiot would eat a turkey curry on Christmas day

People who chant that they "practice bestiality" of the basis of their ethnicity are either seriously misguided, very stupid or sick and needing help.
I cannot see it any other way. These folk need to clean up their act or get someone sensible to force them to. The home fans are so dim they no longer need to be agitated.
I see them in the same way you look at people who make fun of airplane disasters. A large number of fans do not like this chanting at all.

It is only because I know Keith is very busy that I haven't reported this post Seriously need to consider what you say before attacking others, especially when you are yourself complaining about others behaviour and deeming that an insult
