Potter's Swansea team scored quite well, more goals than Coopers and yet could not defend set pieces for toffee loosing us countless points and games.
Celina was a skillful player until a Notts Forest old head working in the midfield took him out just before the half time whistle, he didn't come out for the second half and was never the same for us again.
Cooper did not know how to use him and didn't stick with him or just didn't give time for a partnership with Petersen to develop which could have benefitted the players and the team. | | | |

I seem to recall that in addition to the players who departed, Potter was unable to pick some of his squad due to contractual issues.
The 4 signings may not have been the most stellar in the clubs history, but how do we know Potter was responsible for them all? Some may have been recruited by the Club. Maybe the likes of Declan John were squad fillers and only there to make up the numbers in the event of an emergency.

I agree that these were all awful Potter signings - Celina, McKay, Declan John and Asoro.
But Celina could play and had talent, wasted.
James, McBurnie, Grimes and Byers were all signed by the Academy, and yes he inherited them.
Cabango, Rodon and Roberts were Academy produced. Again inherited. |  |
