Not according to most media sources, they give a lot of detail and comment on how the warning was dismissed by the Russians. Looks like the Russian powers ignored the warning probably out of distrust and as a result hundreds have been killed or injured.
Of course they should trust what the US tells them

The MOD is lying, Any army anywhere that suffers that amount of casualties would be finished. Russian troops are well trained, well equipped and well led, this isn't 1945
So the MoD is lying but you know best? This is at least the second discussion I've joined on this forum where someone's entire argument is "everyone is lying to you, it's all a conspiracy". It is so tedious to end up in a discussion with people who think everything is a conspiracy. It's such a pointless debate.

There hasn't been mass conscription, they have called up reservists, which isn't the same
As of 2021 there has been compulsory conscription in Russia for those aged 21 to 27. Anyone conscripted serves 1 year. Hardly enough time to train raw recruits and send them to the front line.
Over 300,000 Russian have fled Russia to avoid conscription.

Correct and in 2023 and extra 130,000 conscripts in addition to the normal conscripts were called up by Russia to fill gaps in the Russian front line. Murders and sex offenders were also drafted in from prisons.

They weren't going to the front lines. Why would they. Russia has 750k troops alone in and around the Eastern provinces of the Ukraine. Incidentally, that's 10 the total of the entire British army

Don’t condone the torture of prisoners at all but I’m not going to shed a tear for them because they probably deserve it.

I had a good chum in Swansea ,as you might recall from my tedious posts . His mum was raped repeatedly by Red Army animals as they marched through eastern Germany to Berlin . Not for nothing were people shattered when Russia was given a share of Germany .

Here is one of the alleged terrorists who does rather give the impression of having faced stringent interrogation methods.
Seems they don’t have an equivalent of PACE.Itvlooks like they weren’t given a meal break as well as not being given uninterrupted rest . They look shattered . Given two months in custody now. Their legal teams will be appalled . Have to be careful not to refer to foreigners in inappropriate terms as it offends the jackal poster so sarcasm now the best conduit to vent contempt .
