Is there a finer example of what has gone wrong with Government over the last 30 years? That this obviously corrupt, venal shit made it back into power after his first disgrace was bad enough, but for him to be caught at it and forced to resign on three separate occasions just takes the biscuit.

Now we have allegations that he fed Jeffrey Epstein commercially sensitive information on the quiet, which should be enough to secure him some serious jail time if proven.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

This Olly Robins interview looks like another nail in Starmer's coffin...

Everything his shitty government does seems to bypass protocols drunk on power with its huge majority just like Boris's tenure was....Amateur Hour UK....plus ca change

Sounds like there's more dirt about Mandy that is not yet in the public domain and that Phillip Barton will be grilled at some point.

Better than Corrie this....

He’s got more nails than B&Q at this point yet this weak and pathetic little man is desperate to hold on to his hide and he’s got no qualms whatsoever throwing anyone and everyone under the nearest bus. It’s really unedifying to watch.

At least Mike Baldwin at the knickers factory had the guts to own up to doinking Deirdre.

He's a vile man and acts purely out of self interest at every turn - saw that clip of him being laughed at in the HoC yesterday and he looked like an upset little boy being told off in front of the class, I half expected him to start crying.

Totally unfit to lead this country with a voice like nails down a blackboard.

Not the worst prime minister though
I read the Tory ones were worse

ALL are beyond contempt
There is zero integrity in any politician now and hasn’t been for as long as I can remember
Blaming the Tories now is passé , surely

Labour stalwarts might not like this but it’s reality

In my living memory I have to say I disagree with you regarding him not being the worst PM , all the others even though having flaws in their characters cannnot hold a candle to this piece of excrement, he is more than happy to pursue veterans in the courts , remove free speech and our civil liberties, remove or attempt to remove trial by jury, oversee the financial collapse of the country when benefits exceed tax income , the highest taxes seen in decades, sit on his hands when the country is struggling whilst watching his treasury receive £26 million a day in extra fuel duty while his counterparts in other nations have cut theirs , and although there’s a whole lot more he’s willing to gamble on our nation’s safety and future security because he wanted his mate in America . The man is a charlatan, liar and will do anything to maintain power and imo there’s no one else who can come near.

He should never have sent people over to America to canvas for Biden. Much as I dislike Trump I can understand why he is doing us no favours with Starmer in charge.

In addition, some of his decisions have been absolutely crap. The winter fuel allowance is a prime example of not understanding what is going on for people.

I must have been reading Builthy stuff

Hmm , he could well go on to be
He has Miliband who is destroying our energy industry and a pitiful chancellor

I do to think May took some beating if for no other reason than destroying the Police service
Truss simply comical in incompetence
Heath , gutless
Wilson , clever liar
Cameron , saw us leave EU for the wrong reasons
Blair , scrapping licensing laws and kept Brown as chancellor where he stripped away our family silver not to mention illegal wars that saw Brits killed

He’s always been a pathetic specimen. Here’s a nearly forty year old clip of him talking utter dog doo doo on the Kilroy show and getting shut down pretty quickly. It’s embarrassing that someone like him could ever get near power.

I've said it for a long long time now and what I know about politics you could write on the back of a postage stamp, that politics' in this country is in a shocking state and has been for longer than I can remember.

What we got is a load of talking horse chancers career climbers in Labour, Tories etc and worst of all we got a chancer like Farage who has formed his own Party Reform and another one trying to rise in Restore and here in Wales we got this Iorwerth character whose a pure bred talking horse.

Its shocking, there doesn't seem like there is anyone coming along to improve the situation either.

I do like what the Tory leader in Wales Darren Millar has to say, but talk is cheap.

Unfortunately you get people (some on here) who support their political party like their football team. Regardless of how bad they are. When it should be about policies and not the colour of the rosette.

I think people in general are just fed up of the same old drones in suits, the dull, generic, middle management, carefully stage managed, script reliant types that we’ve been fed relentlessly for the last few decades.

The attraction of many to the likes of Farage and Polanski or Trump/Boris etc is far more to do with the fact that they are perceived to offer something ‘different’ to what we’ve had for so long. It’s little to do with policies or manifestos, hardly any bugger ever reads them anyway. It’s the fundamental flaw with universal suffrage. Socrates was arguing against it thousands of years ago.

Further confirmation that Labour don't give a shit about the Working Class and haven't for decades. They're all for the scroungers.

A Government that cared about workers would keep their tax burden as low as possible, not pump it up in order to maintain a welfare client base.

It is frightening that Labour can't see that is the road to ruin, more and more people on benefits. They need to change course quickly.

PS this is a story that is worth looking at how it is treated by various media outlets. It rather proves the rule that you can not depend on a small number of outlets to get a rounded view anymore.

Not much on the flaws of the recruitment process has emerged today, but there are revealing insights into the way this government has been conducting its business. Dr W and JM&B put their finger on one of the juiciest communications. The wider thing that emerges is just how critical Mandy was of Starmer's leadership and the problems in No 10.

J
Again so right
My mum’s dad was a docker who basically lost his life as a result of conditions
He could only see Labour as a vote as he was a “ working man” from Fleet St
It’s why I detest the Labour Party and its luminaries from leafy suburban enclaves
The term “ working family “ should be as reprehensible as the N word

The bit of this I'm enjoying most is that Starmer basically put his neck on the line to appoint Mandelson in the first place and all he got in return was bitching about him behind his back.

Yep , the backstabbing Prince of Darkness really was anti No.10 and this useless Leader .

And Starmer was still dull enough to give him the best jolly on offer available .

Jumped through hoops and Security Checks which advised no , yet got the gig in USA .

Corruption not on a par with other Countries around the globe and I get it we are not at the top end of evil thankfully .

Trust in our Politicians is now becoming a laughing matter sadly , lies and spin follows .

In one WhatsApp exchange with Mandy, our own Swansea West MP, Torsten Bell, describes the process of government as "messy", and complains that "everyone seems to think it's someone else's job to get the policy right". Most of the Front Bench seems to have been turning to Mandelson for advice.

This quote has to be the final death knell for the Labour Party. It’s an absolute gift to their opponents.

If they want to be the party of benefits, fine. Just come out and admit it. But to carry on pretending they are the party of the average working person (as they were set up to do let’s not forget) is just a bare faced lie.

The average working person is. Phrase that turns my stomach
All parties use this
There is no such thing as an average person.
We are all different ,all extraordinary ,all remarkable
“ working” is anathema to those who would vote for Raynor Corbyn and indeed Reeves who feed off those less bright, less educated and less well renumerated or somethings just unlucky
