Also, comparisons are difficult because Wales often has a sicker and older population compared to other UK nations, placing greater demand on services.
General statements about the NHS in Wales, repeated ad infinitum, doesn't make it true.
My theory on education in Wales is historical. Look at where the nickname Taffy came from and then reflect on the perception and the attitudes our neighbours have towards us and that is mirrored by investment and opportunities. Maybe that is why people look at better social policies otherwise we would still be working 60 hours a week for £2.50 an hour and your lot would still be battering us with truncheons if we complain about our conditions. |  |

Our Angie was economical with the truth on her tax figures regarding a house sale .
Would I take her as PM instead of Starmer , just do the change tomorrow or as is likely for Labour in Wales next week .
My X is still undecided but Labour really need to get hold and understand the apathy and distrust of the working mans Party , Starmer his driven that ethos out of his own agenda .

I voted Labour for a long time from the seventies onwards before then moving on to Plaid mostly at a UK level but always in Senedd elections for the last twenty years. So i'm not likely to suddenly change my opinions so much that I turn right, swerve the Tories and go even further to the right and go for Reform.
The other parties all refer to 'Labour supported by Plaid' being responsible for our current problems as if Plaid did something wrong. The voting system was, and still is, almost certainly going to ensure no single party achieves a majority. So whoever becomes the largest party just has to work with other like minded parties to govern. That would apply to Reform same as anyone else.
Plaid and Labour are like minded in many ways so it's unsurprising they worked together. Reform would have to work with the Tories as they are like minded parties. The trouble is the two together will almost certainly not have enough MS's to be able to govern.
Lastly i'll say I find it odd that so many Welsh people who rejected the right wing Tories for the last hundred years are suddenly looking to vote for a party that is even more right wing.
