18 year old victim: I've been stabbed.

Police officer: I don't think you have mate.

Harrowing video of a disgusting miscarriage of justice.

His brother faked the 999 call and his mother hid the murder weapon. Yet they seem to have got away with it all Scot free.

Edit: I was mistaken it seems like the mother has been convicted of assisting an offender

It has been reported that the father and brother will appear before magistrates on (I think) a charge of possession of a prohibited weapon. A large cache of knives was found in the family home, some of which were of illegal types. I suppose the two might also be charged with possession of a bladed article, but this involves carrying said article in a public place and I am not sure they did that. There is a report that one knife was found unattended in a car, which might possibly slip into that category.

I don’t think it’s true everyone is a racist, i don’t care what colour people are or where they come from as long as they are decent people I’ll get on great with them.

I do reserve the right to criticise other cultures and beliefs though. For example I don’t think it’s particularly controversial to be critical of the practice of holding young girls down while an unqualified and unskilled man cuts and mutilates her genitals without painkillers or any medical reason to do so. All to suppress her sexual desire and potential promiscuity and increase the sexual pleasure for her future husband. It’s rather disgusting.

Yet we are letting people in that think this is fine and there are thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of women and girls living in the UK who have suffered this barbarity, and many more who will suffer this.

Right on our doorstep.

It’s how racism is interpreted
Most are more comfortable with that // whom they are familiar with or whom they can identify
Dear God, we have in Wales a country that sees full on racial stereotypical and discriminatory behaviour and narratives aimed at a specific nationality but it’s seen as being proud of Wales and putting it first .
We are seeing illegal migrants given preferncial treatment as they have nowhere to go after landing on our beaches ,whereupon, we actually look after them and support them when they should be turned around immediately .
Those seeing this as an option are branded “ far right” and Union Flags seen as provocative

We are utterly cravenly stupid

What’s worse however is our politicians seeing these as vote catchers .

How are we letting people think this is fine? It’s been a criminal offence in this country since 2005. It’s one of the better things Blair did. Anyone engaged in this barbaric practice commits a criminal offence.

Shocking, I have no words for the police involved, its awful, how thick are they ?, where was the police involved commonsense ?, its unbelievable.
Lots online say the police involved should be sacked, sued, jailed, all three, their conduct was beyond belief, what more evidence did they need, the state on the boy combined with the fact that he said he had been stabbed, somebody else said he had blood in his mouth, I can't believe how the police involved behaved, its shocking.

However, their actions illustrate the training they receive and the political machinations of senior ranks

I’m not sure this is a case of police prioritising racism over all else, there appear to be large gaps in the information that’s been made available to the public and that’s only likely to come out in an enquiry.

We don’t know the exact detail of the 999 call, what exactly was heard and reported by the neighbours. If there’s mention of a stabbing in the call to the police, was that been relayed to the officers and what exactly were they told by their dispatcher. What was the threat assessment they were given and the briefing? Were these officers firearms officers? It doesn’t look like they are armed from the video, but it’s hard to say for sure. If the officers believe they’re going to be facing an armed person they won’t take chances and are going to take steps to secure and detain people by applying handcuffs if they feel it’s necessary and proportionate. It’s dark, so there’s reduced visibility and the officers have been told there’s been a stabbing, there’s also reports of blood being present. There are 2 members of the public and 2 police officers, so there’s a potential safety concerns for the officers, etc etc which the officers would have needed to address.

The murderer has got in first and blamed poor Henry Nowak, the officers have acted on that information albeit wrongly and applied handcuffs. Where the officers have gone wrong is once Henry Nowak has told them he’s been stabbed they should have given him a thorough check - but that didn't happened.

Sadly, it looks like whatever they’d have done wouldn’t have been enough as Henry Nowak suffered catastrophic fatal injuries. My thoughts are with Henry Novak’s family and friends. RIP.

I'm a little puzzled by this as a big chunk of the 999 call has been broadcast and is in the public domain. It is pretty damning. The officers were clearly not firearms officers; they suspected the subject of being drunk, which was part of the brother's false story. One of the officers resigned today. I offer the gentle thought that posters need to be careful that their posts do not come across as deflection.

I will add that I found the LibDem spokesman's statement in Parliament today insipid and sickening; a prime example of the mindset that created the problem. Some politicians are desperate to say that this was a case of poor behaviour by four police officers rather than a systemic problem.

The mind-virus, poison and cult of WOKE has taken this country to a very dark place!

The list is endless! It has brought the sexualization and corruption of children's minds....false accusations of racism based upon quackery and pseudo-science.....created Orwellian-esque 'wrong think'.... introduced cancel culture where having an opinion has seen decent people being punished for simply stating the truth and facts.... seen two-tier policing and caused obscene wastage of tax payers money etc, etc, etc.

Could you imagine what people would have thought of this despicable nonsense only a few decades back.

It's really quite remarkable just how many of those insisting that Henry Nowak's death shouldn't be politicised were all for doing it when George Floyd died.

And these idiots keep wondering why there's a rise in Nationalist/Racist politics.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

I'm worried about Farage. The man is evil, corrupt and dangerous.

I've noticed this morning he's roped the Southport murders in to the murder of Henry Novak. He'll stop at nothing even expoliting the murder of children.

Now we've had Stephen Yaxley - Lennon addressing people out side Southampton police station. We're in a dangerous place.

People are becoming more racist.

Despite protestations from certain quarters, I believe that the UK has been one of the more welcome and tolerant societies to be found anywhere. Yes, there have been racist people, incidents, organisations and such, but as a percentage they've never been all that many.

Waves of migrants have found their way to the UK over the decades, largely starting with Windrush, and most have settled here, started families, businesses and so forth with minimum fuss. Most people have believed as I believe. As long as you come here, obey the law, contribute to society, leave others be and generally leave the place in better nick than you found it then I couldn't care less what colour you are or where you come from.

Over the last 20/30 years though things have been changing. The stirrings of the BNP in the 00's after a generation long dormancy of the far right should have been the first clue that not all was well. The numbers coming in have been increasing, and the numbers being born here have as well. There are schools out there with maybe one or two ethnically "British" kids per class, and that's being noticed.

The percentage of foreign born and second generation migrant children is creeping up to 20+ percent in some areas. You don't have to be a maths whizz to work out that in another generation that's probably going to exceed 50+, especially given disparate birthrates.

Of course resentment is going to rise, and that process is only going to be accelerated when the double standards in how certain groups are treated become more obvious. Gaslighting from the media and politicians is only making things worse. People can see right through it. They can see that it bears no relevance to their own experience. They're not buying the labels and smears any more. If expressing basic concern over how things are going is going to get them called racist anyway, then they might as well go the whole hog.

All the ingredients are there for some serious civil unrest in the next decade or so. Major bloodshed. And it was all avoidable. May still be, but it'll be nasty either way.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.
