Proper probing questions or just a glorified press release, I wonder which it will be.
What do you expect? Since journalists became obsessed with the hostile 'gotcha' questioning everybody controls who attends Press Conferences, or stonewalls anyone they don't know.
"But it's just about Cabango!". Not with some journalists it wouldn't be. They'd start with a fair question about Cabango, then follow up with a very nasty aggressive question that has nothing to do with the truth, "Have you stopped beating your wife yet" etc. And when the guy looks confused, flustered - GOTCHA!!!!
So it's all sanitized with questions approved before hand. I don't blame them.

Capable journalists can probe answers without being aggressive, it’s about having competent grammar and verbalising a question which can catch all the information.
They don’t even use 5wh which is first week training in journalism.

Used to be like that, and there was a burden on journalists to behave fairly. But large sections of that profession abandoned that responsibility. As a result the club has to manage both sides of the table - and they do, they make it what is convenient for them.
Don't blame the clubs, blame the change in journalism. They can do exactly as you say, buyt many won't.

It's beginning to look that way. As soon as we have signed suitable replacements, we will find out the extent of the injury.
I don't think it's all that serious. By the end of the game on Sat he was out on the subs bench watching the remainder. If it was a long term absence we'd know by now.

Cabango is decent in the air and strong against the typical lump of a number nine that half the teams have in this division, I think we need one combative defender. The only time we looked a bit shaky today was the first 10 mins of the second half when Derby put in some high balls. That said the ball retention from Lissah and Welsh was very good today.

The CHs did well today, even in that mad 10/15 mins but we will definitely need cabango back against the lumps you mention.

He's a good player. Maybe been playing in the wrong partnership last season (same can be said for Burgess). He's a captain and important squad member. However the longer he's out and the longer Lissah/Welsh and/or Seelt can impressive in the first team the harder it will be for him to come straight back in. As it should be.
