A poor game in my opinion, Burnley were dreadful and their keeper was shocking as was their defence. Widell gave everything, Welsh was solid, Key was excellent again and Idah worked really hard, but as a team I thought we could have done better. We will play better this season and loose. The referee was clueless and the linesman in front of the east stand was pathetic, yards behind the play so couldn't give the correct decisions. But we won and are joint top so life is good. |  | | |

How often has it been seen that teams around the bottom get wins against top teams.

Key was taken off because he'd spent the last ten minutes of the half having what looked like hamstring problems. He went down for a bit but carried on. He was struggling though.
I thought Vipi did well when he came on. Some nice holdup play, some superb layoff passes and was where he needed to be to finish off his chance.
The way the team has been set up to play this season favours a channel runner like Idah more than it does a focal point like Vipotnik, but I'd still prefer to have both of them available than not. | |
