True , Admittedly Their head honcho has gone to manage Bristol City but they have a well versed backroom staff. I watched them on tv play Cardiff last season at the CCS . They looked very very well organised . Cardiff threw everything at them but they soaked it up calmly and then hit them on the break with 2 very fast counter attacks using the long ball . Result was 2 nil.
Southampton played them recently at Sincil Bank and had far more of the play and went 1 up . BUT they do not panic and gradually they worked themselves back into the game .
They made a sub late on and introduced their big foreign striker who got the better of Nathan Wood at a corner Result 1 - 1.
We will have to watch this guy at set pieces he may start or he may come on as a a sub but we will have to be switched on. | | | |
