No excuse for any of it.
There are only 43 police forces so they’ve included other less well trained or those that recruit people who can’t get into the police. Plus special constables are not trained at all in any depth. It’s misleading but also a mark on how the standard has dropped.
BTW ‘intelligent’ is the name of the website but it doesn’t quantify anything regards the real information people want. Demographics, length of service or which departments or ranks are involved. That’s the info people want to see.

There are still excellent coppers serving but being undermined by woke useless trash at street and as OHL notes at management level.
We. & the coppers themselves deserve better to serve us.
For law abiding regular citizens the Police should be our protectors, our friends and the first port of call when danger hits , sadly they too have been compromised by successive governments that hate their own people.

I suppose you could give some comparison context with those figures. nearly 1300 reports over three years of 140000 officers in England and Wales is less than 1% whereas there are 1.4 million reports in England and Wales a year. The working population between 16 and 64 is approximately 35 million which would give a figure of 4% (based on the assumption that those outside that demographic don't). I then guess that the police figure to experience domestic figure is a quarter less likely then the other figure.
No excuse for any of it and the first group should probably know better. |  |
