He single handedly carries Brentford so i don't see them doing anything to punish this, i truly believe without him Brentford are going straight back down, they can never replace him, he is above any morals or rules that club have in place for normal players

If he’s guilty then he deserves all he gets in terms of punishment which could be many months. We have lost many players and have seen the negative stuff of how we won’t survive many from our own fans.Jota Hogan Gray Watkins Benrahma and Eriksen to name a few expected him to be sold in January anyway at least that won’t happen now.
232 bets over four years isn't much. Just over one a week.
I get why players shouldn't bet, but the moral hypocrisy over it is a bit much. The game is drenched in gambling. The team he plays for is owned by someone who made their money out of it.
Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.
Earning God knows, 35k a week!? And yet he is still chasing the money......its the issue with much of society of today.
Millionaires and billionaires don't go to Casinos to make extra cash. They go for the buzz. For the challenge of beating the odds/house/competitors/whatever.
Same thing here.

I know the rules so he should know them. WC fame has l slipped by him. Lets home Johnny Williams gets one or two winners. Its about maximising not minimising.
Trippier got banned for 10 weeks for one offence so Toney is looking at forty four years.
If he keeps himself fit he should still be able to do walking football in 44 years

Mid eighties. Swans players, Union cafe for dinner, then a few hours in the bookies.

Some of us would recall the betting scandal in 1964 involving, among others, three Sheffield Wednesday players, Peter Kay, Tony Swan and 'Bronco' Lane. They were banned from football for life and received prison sentences. Can't see that happening today when gambling and football are joined at the hip.

Indeed. Remember Bronco. What a name. I got a blue white striped shirt from Atkinsons as a result .

They were throwing games ? I recall reading and I think this is right Brian Clough scoring goals in a game and being told to stop by a team mate. Obviously involved in match fixing. Not sure if that was against Sheffield Wednesday. He got so furious he scored five that day.
A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.
