I was just about to say something similar when I read yours. I really like Mark Gatiss and he has stayed pretty true to the original vision of Stoker in as much as the whole thing is a comic-horror exercise in high camp.
I haven’t had much of a chance to catch any programmes at all over Christmas but this was one I had on record for weeks. |  |

Mark Gatiss is supremely talented as a writer and an actor. Ditto the others in the League of Gentlemen. Inside No 9 should be back soon. One of the best shows currently broadcasting.
They took some obvious liberties with the source material last night but none the worse for it. | |

I may have mentioned this before on here but I’ve been to the castle associated with old Vlad himself (that’s how they sell it any rate,) Brân in Transylvania.
It looks the part...
