Cooper reveals he was never happy with Woolmer’s appointment 26th Nov 2020 10:00
Swansea City manager Steve Cooper was beside himself with rage after a perfectly legitimate goal was ruled out by last nights referee Andy Woolmer. This row looks certain to run and run. 0

The governing bodies always go to great lengths defending referees. They say it is never personal and that all referees are impartial but us fans have seen it time and time again. I used to hate seeing Mike Dean, not because I think he delibertely cheats but he is just useless. The Michael Oliver came along and I thought he made Dean look suerb. Lee Mason, another waste of space...in my opinion.

This referee certainly seemed very happy to make calls against us. Every time a Weds player went down he seemed to give a foul yet apparently didn't see the Korey Smith foul. He also saw a foul to deny a goal when even Tony Pulis seemed to think it was a good goal. Then he'd also ignored a high foot in the area by a Weds defender beofre the supposed foul.

The problem is when managers speak out the authorities always back the ref and there's a knock on because when this ref comes here again he'll probably be even worse and when Cooper speaks out we'll be punished again.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

If you're too nice they'll just carry on not worrying as there is no ramifications. I don't mind him speaking how he sees it personally.

Those five games last season analysed and investigated Cooper v Woolmer ‘ It’s Personal’ 26th Nov 2020 12:25
Steve Cooper has made some dramatic comments on referee Andy Woolmer indicating his decision making against the swans is personal, to the extent where he complained about his appointment in the home game against Sheffield Wednesday. Days before the game. 0

Dean is an absolute kn0b who loves being the centre of attention, not a good ingredient for a ref.

The way he was celebrating Tranmere's win the other year on the seats where he was obviously playing up to the cameras was horrific.

Wasn't it Dean who seemed to celebrate a goal during a match he was reffing?

I thought that during our disallowed goal there was also a hand ball by a defender, but unless you could view some really good slow mo it is very hard to tell.

It's incredible to think he saw anything other than this so called personal issue with Cooper.

OK I've changed it.
