Roberto speaks. I have a lot of time for the likes of Roberto, Huw, of course, and Brendan. The legacy lives on. I love the club's history and have little time for whingers. I was mightliy impressed when Flynn Martinez and Rodgers all showed up for Alan Tate's testimonial. A special club. Was Potter there then?. Another great appointment.

I remember the Wigan away game in the cup. Estimations of the away following for a midweek game were mad, was it 5,000 ?
It was and I was still working then.I finished early just to go and mouth obscenities -at those who were giving schtuck to this great iconic figure for us.He basically changed the template of doom. I love him to this day. MANY turned their backs on him like a jilted lover

and one whose legacy is more toxic than anything hitherto. We are still left with fan/trust sueing the sellers whilst at the same time hoping to make ourselves attractive to a sale to people with money and acumen to maximise our untapped potential.
His incompetence led to our rapid and unforgivable drop from the Prem where we should still be,had he any nous.

Don't forget Bury another 5000 away when we won promotion, more away fans than home fans and didn't they have to give us the home terraces?
Adrian Forbes...who can forget, oh and Willy Gueret, a legend for a completey different reason
Can remember that day very well.
1. A "Gate House Jacks" flag hanging up outside the town's Wetherspoons.
2. The weirdly-named Swan & Cemetery pub outside the ground.
3. Forbes's goal in the opening minute.
4. 2 or 3 appallingly drunk Swans fans in there 60's (old enough to know better) being led out of the ground by WPCs who were young enough to be their granddaughters, embarrassingly.
5. Us hanging on in desperation for the remainder of the game after Forbes's goal.
6. Bare-chested Willy being bizarrely arrested on the pitch.
7. Outside afterwards, the arrival of GMPs riot squad, drafted in from Bolton, shields out, metal helmets on and truncheons at the ready, shoving Swansea fans about in the car park.
8. The police, post-match, closing down Wetherspoons so that they could clear the town of South Walians.
All this I remember, and yet I can't recall what I had for tea last night

The Trust are not suing the sellers not yet anyway. Under HJ stewardship he kept SCFC in the PL for 7 seasons. A phenominal achievement while balancing the books. People who are susceptible to feelings of betrayal will never change. Today they are probably only 7 clubs at risk of relegation. 3 from 7. A 42% chance each season. To dodge that 42% for 6 seasons was outstanding.
The Trust were contrary and unreasonable and no use to SCFC.

HJ and Mr Morgan saw the Trusts stock rise 100 times. Their share valuation rose from £200,000 to £20,000,000 and they put the buyer they found in front of the Trust to make a deal. They failed to make a deal. The accusations of incompetence are shared.

****RANDOM UNWARRANTED DIG AT TRUST ALERT****
Was not the Trust created to oversee malpractice? Did it miss the machiavelian goings on during the sale.If it did ,then the Trust isnt really a guardian-it could be said.

You made a remark about the previous owners buying / wasting money on poor transfers didn't you? He somehow turned it into some tenuous random dig at the trust.
But now you now want to veer off too into the circumstances surrounding the sale of club?
To answer your point&you know this because you've said it yourself enough. The trust weren't given the opportunity to oversee the sale until it was too late so couldn't investigate abt machiavelian ongoings that may have occurred
