And the Mars Rover project comes in at about 1/7 of the cost of Track and Trace. Meanwhile the Taxpayers Alliance ger great traction on the BBC license fee going up a penny a day. Go figure!

Track and Trace contract given out to Tory Lord who had no experience in any thing remotely resembling track and trace and a Tory supporter who had no experience of PPE let alone medical PPE got a multimillion pound contract, there was many more as well, it stinks. Seems like this lot can get away with anything they please.

If the undoubted success of the vaccination programme continues and most people are living relatively normal lives by this time next year then nobody is going to care even a little bit about stuff like this. Wrongly maybe (I'd tend to agree) but it is what it is.

I can only say what I've said before. I don't have a problem with Johnson being late implementing lockdowns and stuff like that. Yes, we might have benefitted from doing it sooner but on principle I prefer my politicians to see restricting freedom as a last resort. The blatant cronyism is harder to excuse. Heads need to roll for that.

I'll go a bit furhter, heads need to end up prison. If Hancock acted unlawfully he should be sacked and face charges. I think it's non negotiable for politicians, they act honestly or they are punished. I can take an honest mistake but refusing to reveal the details of these deals is an attempt at a cover up. Hancock, you should be sacked you smirking twerp. Unfortunately, as long as his nose is deep in Bojo's crack he won't get anything but support.

Lots of us do have a problem with it because 120,000 people in the UK died as a result. Johnson should be jailed.

Does that mean Drakeford should be jailed too? After all even the WOL political editor ran a story pointing out Welsh government mistakes and lies.

He did act unlawfully. 'The High Court has ruled “The Secretary of State acted unlawfully by failing to comply with the Transparency Policy” and that “there is now no dispute that, in a substantial number of cases, the Secretary of State breached his legal obligation to publish Contract Award Notices within 30 days of the award of contracts.” We have won the judicial review we brought alongside Debbie Abrahams MP, Caroline Lucas MP, and Layla Moran MP. In handing down the judgment, Judge Chamberlain brought into sharp focus why this case was so important. “The Secretary of State spent vast quantities of public money on pandemic-related procurements during 2020. The public were entitled to see who this money was going to, what it was being spent on and how the relevant contracts were awarded.' https://goodlawproject.org/upd

We've lost 120,000 lives throughout this virus, at least a quarter or even a third were lost through this governments incompetence, so it was long before time they got something right. If they had, medical advisors worth their salt instead of the yes men they had, we may have fared better.

WOL political editor is untrustworthy like most of the press. If you trust Hayward I certainly dont. He is just out to make a name for himself. He has been running a campaign against Drakeford for ages. Be very interesting to find out his political associations. This is a latest in many articles he has written. Already been proved wrong on many.

Check this article out max. It would seem it wasn't the issue of 'yes men' but the fact that the government prioritized the economy over people. Money over lives. All the while pilfering the public purse. They're a mafia not a government. But then again there's a saying that you get the government you deserve. https://archive.vn/UWnAm

He assembled a ministry of yes men, you could see that, with his silly charade of having them all say "Lets get Brexit done" in unison whilst they were all sitting around the table, they've all got richer throughout this pandemic, they couldn't believe their luck, you only got to listen to that utter vile creature that is Rees Mogg, to see what they're all about, vermin the lot of them. For those hard of thinking and who like to twist things I don't mean the voters.

Drakeford has made mistakes without doubt, but he at least has got integrity and is honest. and thinks of they people he represents, I do think he's frightened about opening things up to soon though, 16 deaths and virtually 500 new cases, over the last 24hrs isn't gonna help either.

Hahaha are you a Cardiff fan, so deluded. You lot slag off Hancock and the Tories, imagine the state of us if we were governed by Labour! It seriously would be awful...you can reply what you want, but the absolute truth is we would be totally f@cked, the debt would be treble what it is now and more businesses would have gone bust...and you lefty lot know it!

The righties just do not understand . A life is a life. It wouldnt surprise me if Johnson, Hancock etc were chucked in the slammer in years to come.
| Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Dear god Don't ever suggest that I'm a Cardiff fan either. Your mates inability to listen to the real experts have cost thousand of lives, tories have always been in it for themselves, but you're a typical tory dragging another party in to support your feeble argument, your mates have presided over this pandemic, nothing to do with Labour. Drakeford is far from perfect and has made is own mistakes, but your downing st mob have been a disaster in this crisis, except for making their mates richer. [Post edited 20 Feb 2021 0:27]
