| Anyone concerned about Steven Benda ? on 17:47 - Aug 28 with 1424 views | Chief | Bit harsh in my eyes. Today was his only dodgy goalkeeping performance so far in terms of stopping the ball going into the net. He has struggled at times in the other games with the opposition's press etc but he's been told to play that way so I don't put much blame on him for those errors. | |

| Anyone concerned about Steven Benda ? on 17:59 - Aug 28 with 1402 views | pencoedjack | Yes I don’t think he’s very good, in fact I’d go as far as he looks calamitous Been spoilt with decent keepers in my time watching the Swans with the exception of the last couple of seasons. | | | |
| Anyone concerned about Steven Benda ? on 18:16 - Aug 28 with 1363 views | WalterBoyd | For a 22 year old with very little first team experience, I think he is doing a great job. I think a more experienced keeper who also has experience playing for a team that play out from the back would strengthen us, but I feel far more concerned about other positions on the pitch. | | | |
| Anyone concerned about Steven Benda ? on 18:30 - Aug 28 with 1343 views | jasper_T | He's young, and you don't build consistency catching splinters for a year. Not the only one who lost his head and made mistakes today. Good saves in the first half. | | | |
| Anyone concerned about Steven Benda ? on 18:41 - Aug 28 with 1317 views | jack247 | A little bit. That’s two catastrophic decisions in five games after the Blackburn penalty. He could have been sent off today and should have stopped the free kick. Lost the ball in a similar way to Blackburn in the Sheffield United game, but recovered and I think forced a goal kick. Even in the Bristol city game he played two loose passes to them in our final third. Having said that, there are a lot of positives. His shot stopping is good, he commands his area, he’s brave and aggressive. His distribution is pretty good, it just needs to be near perfect if you’re a keeper being asked to pass between strikers. He probably hasn’t had to do that very much until now. I do prefer him to Woodman, who I also liked, but he’s far from perfect. | | | |
| Anyone concerned about Steven Benda ? on 19:01 - Aug 28 with 1286 views | swan65split | First season with us as a regular, in a new formation and style, sometimes a goalkeepers performance depends on what's around him. | | | |
| Anyone concerned about Steven Benda ? on 19:42 - Aug 28 with 1229 views | 1462jack | He’s an upgrade on the coward woodman though ain’t he ??? | | | |
| Anyone concerned about Steven Benda ? on 19:46 - Aug 28 with 1219 views | onehunglow | He had zero chance with the first two goals which happened right under my nose. Both into the corner. #They were caused by us farking around at the back and losing possession. Benda is ok | |

Did you see Ederson earlier for Man City ? Team that plays out from the back. Is Ederson also a dodgy keeper ?

Fair play good answers, and don't forget the save from a shot plus he really did well on the one on one He's young gonna make some mistakes but I think he's OK Woodman last year for me cost us lots
| Anyone concerned about Steven Benda ? on 04:10 - Aug 29 with 864 views | angryjack | In fairness to benda,he's being exposed far more than woodman did as the way we play ,woodman was protected a lot more than benda | | | |

No but Benda is. You carry on and bury your head in the sand. Benda is not good enough.
