I see the thickos are out in force , I thought there was no money about to enable them to fill their oversized cars along with its oversized fuel tanks . People are really stupid .

We just tried to go to B&Q and gave up, queues all petrol stations that are blocking roads. Peniel Green road was blocked at Skewen and down towards Asda.

I gave up and came home. The really stupid part is, with the roads blocked and cars sitting there idling, they are just using up even more fuel which will make things worse!

We were planning on going shopping this evening, I hope the petrol part in Tesco's is shut!

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

It'll settle down , ( I hope) .but this really emphasises the fact that news organisations sometimes create the news rather than just reporting it .

Wife took her father to Tesco this morning (he's 92) absolutely rammed with people with overflowing trolleys everywhere.

Good job she filled the car on Wednesday, we won't starve, and we've still got plenty of bog roll from the last mad rush

Just why the media felt the need to alarm people into panic buying, they are a complete and utter disgrace, and goes to show what a bunch arsh*les they really are.

The left wing BBC love to stir it up and cause chaos,it suits them down to the ground.

They love getting the stupid working class to do their dirty worK whilst they drink their large red in their Islington flats.

My wife didn't get that email. regardless, we needed shopping so I went to Tesco Neath Abbey, queueing to get in for shopping because of the queue for petrol, got to the petrol entrance and, having less than quarter of a tank turned in and filled up. I have enough petrol for nearly 2 weeks now but with everybody filling up the pumps will run dry soon, the rush will be over soon after.

Stupid really but after the news broadcast the 'shortage' the major supermarkets sent out the message that they had plenty, there isn't a problem with supplies either.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

It's not the media who are ars@holesits the public who fall for it every time and panic buy everything when no need, leaving the less fortunate who can only get out certain times with nothing left until next delivery as it never runs out..People are thick

I did because the point very quickly came where I wondered would there be any petrol left soon and how do we get my wife to work next week?

It was the same with the toilet roll fiasco, we were reduced to buying it when we saw it, even when we had enough for a few days or a week. When you've seen a couple with 2 trolleys, one full up with toilet roll, it forces you into a decision.

The news creates the problem and the problem grows very quickly into a panic.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

It is amazing how dull sheep are just see a queue and join in to see if you squeeze in a few extra gallons. Never mind the extra fuel you waste and pollution you belch out leaving your engine running in the queue.

The worse part is your will be giving the government extra fuel duty and VAT a week or so before you have to.

Petrol stations on average have a week's normal supply in their fuel tanks.

Journalism is at all time low, both left and right wing media seem set on campaigning in the UK. There is not an issue here, 6 petrol stations closed on Thursday.
The BBC seem obsessed with this.

Oh yes, the reason this country is in such a mess is the public and the way they believe and get taken in by the elitists, from the woman's pensions travesty, Brexit, the way Covid was handled, the years of cutbacks, not being able to recieve nhs treatment due to backlog unless you tell them you will pay then suddenly the consultants are available to treat your in there droves and all this great British public of ours do is moan on Facebook and vote for rich public schoolboys with no experience of life,s hardships to govern them.

To be fair, the majority of the public aren't necessarily Boris and Tory voters, but the options were Corbyn and his flock of bigger idiots, we are not in a good place now, but god knows where we'd be if Corbyn & Abbott were running the show (some still remember Tony Blair)

But hey! lets blame Boris not the labour party that keep leaving the gate open for the conservatives to saunter into No 10.
