Millwall v Swansea City COVID-19 update MATCH POSTPONED 23rd Dec 2021 13:10
Millwall manager Gary Rowett continues to be slightly vague on his teams health issues just three days before their game against Swansea City. However, it is clear he is struggling to function with anything close to a full squad. And news now is the game is off. 0

So the advice from Stump seems wrong then.
There might just be something in this mask wearing thing,y know,that which is "tyranny".

Make no mistake,football is so utterly dumb.

Poll: Christmas. Enjoyable or not

What's mask wearing got to do with this? That's been the government recommendation since a few weeks back?

If we stop testing asymptomatic people then these cancellations and staff shortages that we're seeing will be a thing of the past

This esteemed writer said so -
The premier league have made it clear any team that has thirteen players and a goalkeeper available will play on Boxing Day regardless of their reported positive tests. The EFL will reflect that criteria to an extent with the fear ahead that games are about to be the first thing hit in any future new government criteria. Last night saw packed stadiums at Spurs, Brentford and Liverpool and it was noticeable very few were wearing masks. With an expected hundred thousand plus new cases to be announced later today the whole fixture calendar is again on the brink.

Currently very little in the way of restrictions = dozens of games called off and highest daily infection rate
Last season restrictions in place and games went ahead.
Am I missing something?

1. Very unlikely they'll pass it on if they're showing no symptoms
2. The vulnerable has been vaxxed so they're protected

There must be clear data from clubs as to who had Covid and what proportion was vaxxed and what was not vaxxed.

If it turns out that 9 out of 10 cases were unvaxxed (as with hospitalisations) there is a case for sending unvaxxed players on gardening leave.

Swansea are being penalised financially for being vigilant and their game going ahead behind closed doors at a considerable financial loss to the club . Swansea need to postpone this match an play it when crowds are possible.

No sense from London. Good sense from Resolven as ever. The latest South African data suggests a rapid fall off after peaking very quickly. South Africa is almost all Omncrom.

It is also a warm place in the summer.

You do realise that Swansea has two known cases of Covid in the squad and not all players in the squad are vaccinated, plus the fact that no club can just postpone their games, that has to come from the EFL.

Its also not SCFC's decision to play behind closed doors its the Welsh governments and we were playing Millwall at you guessed it Millwall were spectators are allowed

Good sense as ever you say, more dense sense again from Resolven as ever more like.

It is also a warm place in the summer stop it mun just stop it

If you believe that "9 out of 10 cases were unvaxxed (as with hospitalisations) " you are totally brainwashed.
Why don't you go and look at the actual data that the Gov.UK web sites show.
Here is the data, you want Table 9 on page 37 here.

https://assets.publishing.serv

Vaccinated = 4388
Unvaccinated = 3693.

Please stop repeating propaganda crap numbers.

1. Jeeeeeeeeez! No wonder this virus is spreading at the speed it is.
