I recall early in the season Swansea getting soundly beaten 2-0 at Elland Road in league 1. Roberto Martinez then stated he would not swap one of his Swansea players for one of the Leeds players. I thought he was bonkers at the time.
Leeds fans associated to the unpleasant boxer Josh Warrington verbally abused Lee Selby and Liam Williams with animal noises and salacious chanting. Lee seemed taken aback by the foul mouth Saxon hoards. Liam on the other hand sent his northern rival into next week.
Frank Warren and Steve Bunce did nothing to stop the racial abuse of our great Welsh sportsmen. With bah noises and sheep sh@gger chants drowning out Liam's press conference the interviewer Bunce apologised to viewers for Liam calling his northern opponent "a bit of a D Head". |  |

Watched some clips of Sam Greenwood playing u23 football. A very tidy player and finisher. His key skill set is as a set piece player. Freekicks and corners Swansea have struggled in this aspect since Sigurdson left. He seems deadly in the direct free kick range that Gylfi specialised in.
These goals can turn games. Does Grimes practice enough? Greenwood appears to be very practice driven. | |
