So many good keepers to pick from, but a soft spot for Millington, as he lived close by and we spent a few nights having a beer and chat.

Fabianski has got to be the best all round keeper - but Tony Millington was my all time favourite. I spent a day out with Tony down the Mumbles - mostly in the old "Mermaid" What a character. He bet me a pint that he could save more pens than me. Like a tw@t, I agreed. He ended up moving tables and chairs to make a goal, and then informed me it was with an imaginary ball. 🤔 He saved all my pens (diving full length with a cigar in his mouth), and of course he scored all his. 😂 Plus "Swan65split" we'll never forget that train journey home with him, 😇 after that FA Cup robbery, away to Leeds. RIP Tony... YJB [Post edited 20 Apr 2022 21:24]

Thats Tony, always messing around/ His famous line to me on that train, "your eyes look like the map of wales" due to lack of sleep and of course BR tinnies.

| Best Goalkeeper on 09:04 - Apr 21 with 884 views | STID2017 | Fabianski by far the best. Outstanding keeper, plus cared about the club and the fans. The emotion he showed in his last game v Stoke will always stick with me. Honourable mentions to Rimmer, Stewart, Crudgington, Barber and of course Millington | |
