During that time alone Martin has seen upheaval behind the scenes with the departures of Andy Scott and Mark Allen, key figures in his plans for the swans. And of course his right hand man Luke Williams who seemed an integral part of his Swansea City dream. 1 The factuals, click above. The invisibles, click below.

S. Me look mum always told me to be dubious about men who part their hair on the right. It’s about the crown apparently . Enjoy the break. Things will be better soon

We keep hearing how we need a different type of defender and Darling from RMs old club MKDons keeps being mentioned as a target yet there is posted elsewhere in the board an article from RMs time at MKDons where again despite dominating with 70% possession another game was lost predominantly though errors at the back with Darling at the centre of them. it seems Martin is not for changing. Ask yourselves would you by now if something you were doing was consistently not working would you not change? I'm not so sure the Anericans are that happy... we talk about the long game and we need patience...the last two seasons we were in the mix for promotion this season we are closer to relegation though safe enough. There is talk we have improved as the season gas progressed yet though unbeaten in 9 games we managed only 3 wins and also surrendered 3 goal leads twice. my worry is we will get to Christmas and need to change and we will find ourselves in the spiral that led to our last relegation

I suppose technically Cooper signed Piroe, although obviously didn't have the benefit of his use, Russell did. But even without Piroe at 1m:- Obafemi - 1.8m Downes - 1.53m Joseph - 522k Fisher - 428k Ogbeta - 500k ................................. 4.87m In terms of players he was able to use, Cooper had one of the lowest transfer spends in years. 1.77m last season and 495k the season before...2.27m in total. The team as changed, the only constant from Coopers days at the moment are Cabango, Naughton and Grimes even Bennett has been put out to grass, Fulton has started to reappear now plus a few other's who are playing bit parts, Hamer who is ok as a keeper can't get a look in at all since Fisher the "Cat" was signed, but realistically we have changed 8 first team players.

Yet some will still argue that Martin inherited the bulk of the team from last season. This is a big summer for all involved, including us supporters. I am optimistic as always about next season. My fear is, as the author has alluded to, with recent off field departures of staff, is the clock already ticking for Martin ? I would like to see him given to the winter break, but if the owners have in their mind to get rid, then please do it now and let us hit the ground running with a new manager.
