I understand lots of reasons for not renew.
Loss of faith in ownership or long term ethos of the club, work or family commitments, better things to do on a weekend etc.
However managers come and go.
RM may be here for two weeks or two years.
None of us know.
To give up your ST because of him or the current style of football seems silly to me.
If Cooper was still here, I wouldn't give up my ST in protest, even though I wasn't keen on his football.

I've renewed again, but I do not hope for another season of what we witnessed. We are patient bunch of fans, but Martin's style has put that to the test. Match days are pretty quiet these days from both sets of fans because of our style of play of keep ball and do nothing with it, sucks all entertainment out of the game.
But I will give him the benefit of the doubt to see what he does next season with new players and possibly learn from this season's faults. |  |

We haven't renewed because of my work commitments but we will carry on going, when we can. The Swans will be here long after Martin, and the rest of us.
It may even be that when my rota is finally fixed for the next 12 months that I go out and get seasons again. Currently I am due off 3 Saturdays in 4 but I work most Tuesdays, it depends on the fixtures really. | | | |

Definitely right about the ticket thing.
So many moaned about not getting tickets in the PL.
Same ones will be back moaning again if we get up
Edit: Some were even suggesting we should have extended to get more for the Cardiff game.

If it wasn’t for the fact that me and 3 mates choose our seats when the stadium was first built, which are in a prime position, 2 of us were seriously thinking of not renewing due to this MARTINBALL bollocks.
Oh for a bog standard good Championship manager, who knows what he’s doing (defensively) but one with that certain “Je ne sais quoi “ about him to play the Swans way.
But who’s going to find one ?

I’ve not renewed as not only have I no time for Martin and the boring product on the field but I am fed up of being taken for a mug by these owners. Every season is a catastrophe through the summer and fed up of hearing about supporting the Project every year.
When Martinez was here we built the basis of a good team who played attractive football. Now we are told by both fans on here and the board that we are a selling club with not a card chance in hell of building consistency into our team.
I don’t care if we don’t get to the Premiership that’s all I want is a half decent bit of entertainment to watch. So for the first time since 2003 I’ve not renewed. | | | |

We still have a very healthy crown of 18,000, 20 years ago we were lucky to get 3,000. As for the football, it wasn't always great but when it was it was a joy to watch, a defensive coach and one or two additions and I can see us going all the way. | | | |

Ultimately, whichever manager you prefer (Potter, Cooper or Martin) the net result was the same.
Whilst we can all cherry pick games that suit our preferred views on which was best, there are many games I have seen which were boring.
As I said net result is we are still in the Championship, never been seriously threatened with relegation, but not promoted either.
Hopefully next season will see more entertainment and a promotion bid as well | |

Finishing 4th is infinitely better than finishing 15th. From sponsorship, to player retention, to player acquisition, to loan opportunities, to merchandise sales, to gate receipts… you name it. It’s vastly better to finish high in the league than low in the league.

Luton finished 12th last season, Forest 17th and Huddersfield 20th.
Us and Barnsley finished 4th and 5th respectively.
So last season's finish doesn't have a huge bearing on attraction to new players or other matters.
People outside the club take a wider view (unless the club is promoted or relegated) that finishing position is only a small part of the picture.
A lot can happen in a couple of months at say Reading or Birmingham to change people's perception re sponsorship etc.
