Just how much lower can this country go , of course they deserve more money , everyone does. We're paying the price for inept, corrupt politicians and yet we just seem to accept our lot .I just hope that the goodwill we have towards our medical profession doesn't become fractured but I think it will once stories of missed or cancelled appointments start surfacing in the media . | |

It’s not just nurses. I think this winter we will reach a breaking point. People are working fifty, sixty seventy hours a week and will still be unable to play their bills. Millions will face eviction or repossession. People having to choose between food and heat and barely be able to afford either. Meanwhile these companies selling the energy and the food will no doubt be posting massive unprecedented profits of squillions of pounds.

Where do they go? There are 320,000+ registered nurses in the NHS. They would need to take up new careers, their chances of finding jobs outside the nhs are slim. Private companies would pay even less id wager. | |
