Too bloody true. All these gongs for "services too" when they haven't done it from the kindness of their hearts, whatever job they have been in, that inclides the CEO's of charities too.
However, people like Sinfield and Margaret Thrush have raised masses for charity in thei spare time and at their own expense.
Look at this list and name anything great any person on it did that might deserve a peerage. All any of them did was donate, do their job or do some things for the then Pm that maybe they shouldn't have.
David Beckham, I bet the reason he hasn't been "honoured" is because he expects paying before he accepts one.
