Trying to be impartial, a common theme in amongst oppo fans, win or lose is the praise for the way in which we play. Martin is slowly building a team that works together, he is going to get failures but we're playing good football, if Priroe was on form we'd be sitting pretty,. No manager can compensate for your star man having a shocking season or others having a sulk. I am optimistic if we have a good transfer window we could make the play offs. They had 3 shots on target the same number as us so I'm not sure why you feel they should have scored more ,they attacked more in the second half but didn't really trouble Benda at all . I agree on his appointment so far its looking good for him and his team of, tbh a PL side in the making | |

I think that’s just basic psychology.
When you beat an opponent in any sport, the most common theme is to be magnanimous in victory and praise the other team. With us, the biggest thing that stands out is our style of play, it’s a very easy thing to think of and then commend us.
Put it this way, if we were that hard to play against then we wouldn’t have come 15th last season and we wouldn’t be 14th now.
Sadly I think a lot of the belligerence with his style comes from taking opposition managers comments seriously after games, it’s not the first time he’s mentioned what others say to him.
But there comes a point where you have to sit up and take note of reality rather than drowning yourself in the romance of the words of magnanimous victors.
We all see the same game, we all know the extreme limitations of this style - kind comments should not detract from reality.

Not many games have I heard the opposition manager talk about the opposing team , especially when they win ,psychology. tends to work before the event not after,which is pretty pointless exercise other than blowing smoke in the direction of the arris, again for what purpose | |
