The worst bit about this whole situation is that Russy now has the perfect excuse for delivering rubbish performances every week. People who were previously grumbling about how the team plays and the whole "two wins in fourteen games or whatever" thing now defend him to the hilt.

He's a mid table manager regardless of what he has. You could give him £10m to spend and we'd still be weak at the back. Hell, we spent more than £1m on Darling and he's going backwards as a defender.
I cannot for the life of me understand why he's defended so strongly when he's shown precious little to deserve it. Even as maligned as Cooper (deservedly) was, at least he knew how to grind wins out. | |

Clearly the staff in Swansea, in spite of their hard work to improve the squad, have been hung out to dry by those across the pond.
It wont improve until there is a change of owners.
