| Swansea City's appalling week must be a watershed moment ... 11:31 - Feb 8 with 1755 views | theloneranger | "Levien and Kaplan publicly admitted a few years ago that the 2018 summer transfer window was an absolute mess and promised they would do all in their power to improve recruitment. But here we are, more than four years on, in exactly the same position, only with a drastically lower amount of funds available, which probably goes a long way to explaining the aspirations of bringing fresh investment into the club." https://www.walesonline.co.uk/ | |

Ayew and Bony were last minute “oh shit!” signings and we’ve been paying for it for years.

How many managers do we need to go through for some to realise where the problem is. Potter saw it, Cooper saw it and last week Martin had the wake up call. To the owners, no more bull and excuses if you can't run a football club get out. Who cares how much you allegedly put in, if you hadn't ballsed up, you wouldn't be losing money.

These were Huw J and David Ledbetter signings. I doubt the effects are still there. These signings and Sanches are the answer to "where did the money go" and of course Clucas and Borja a £25m write off.

Would anyone like to do a count with me? Management errors vs ownership errors? Or would that expose the massive hypocrisy going on at the moment, completely by design of course. Ian “activist” Mitchelmore and Stuart “click bait” James are as much journalists as Waynetta Slob is a woman of culture.

The owners appointed the management though, the buck stops with them. If the management is failing which it very often has been when it comes to results and performance then it’s their job to manage the management. Do you also think they are exempt from criticism on this front as well?

There are posters who blame the owners for everything and won’t blame the management for anything. There are posters who blame the management for everything but refuse to criticise the owners. The truth is incompetence/failure is rife throughout the club. The owners want to do everything as cheaply as possible which has led to massive gaps in the squad, mistrust in the fan base and a general decline since they’ve taken over. The fact they own other clubs all of which are bottom of their respected leagues should be alarming in itself. The management has shown promise but are completely naive and stubborn and keep making the same mistakes over and over and over. The squad is young and talented but don’t seem to be learning from their mistakes. For any successful club you have to have engaged owners and a management team, squad and fan base working together. We don’t have it.

So you are now saying Russell is a bad manager that should never have been appointed? I can’t keep up with all this flip flopping. For all his accolades on here, not many people have praised the owners for appointing him. Again, funny that.

Well if it’s their fault for appointing him, as opposed to being to their credit… that must mean you don’t like the manager. Otherwise you should be praising them for the choice, no? No battle, I’m just clarifying your stance as it seems confused. You are praising Russell one minute, and slating the owners for appointing him the next.

Of course it does. You blamed them for appointing him, yet appear to like the manager. That means you strayed from your actual view in order to bash the owners. Not sure why you are so obsessed by trying to get my attention with such things.
