What does ‘the players are really brave’ actually mean?
To me, nothing because all this passing around doesn’t get us anywhere. Easy on the eye maybe to the uninitiated but not those that witness it week in week out.
Playing around the back making last moment passes is brave yes. But why? What is the purpose?
He seems a beaten man now and it’s best for everyone that he lets someone else have a go.

It’s just rhetoric, because 3 points aside, there’s very little positive to take out of that performance.
He can’t just sit there and say, ‘game management was awful, they are the weakest side in the league and we rode our luck for the last 15 minutes against 10 of them’.
I agree, he’s had the air of a broken man since the Birmingham game. Speaking out against the owners after the deadline day debacle and then conceding two in injury time, with that Lati injury having wasted his subs ruined him. | | | |

He has to be doubting his methods now.
4 seasons it’s taken him, and he’s out of ideas now, no idea what to do. It’s dawned on him that what he’s been married to for 4 seasons isn’t the thing he thought it was.
Reminds me of seeing a kid when he first starts to see Santa isn’t real. The cogs are turning in his head, realising that everything he thought was true maybe isn’t.
It’s kind of sad, but at the same time the level of delusion to believe like he has, so belligerently, against all evidence and common sense - it’s hard for me to find much sympathy. |  |

But the ability is there it is brave the way we play and unique.
What I didn't get was the mention of no wingers surely that was his choice.
He definately reads social media tho picked up on Grimes not passing forward kept mentioning 2 wins in 16.
The last presser stated he had not fallen out with players.
Get the team defending properly and get some width and pace in the side.

But the ‘brave’ play by itself a chocolate teapot - useless. It’s being brave fir brave sake.
