What another bizarre game all of the possession,an own goal for us to win the game,Blackpool down to 10 men and us really hanging on in the last 10 minutes or so like we had 10 men and several times Blackpool opening us up on the counter.....I always remember as soon as the other team went down to 10 men the writing was on the wall for the opposition but we playing like we got 9 men to their 10. The only player we had with pace went back to West Ham. I don’t think I’ve seen a Swans team with such a lack of it and a wide man capable of beating a full back etc.

I completely agree.
Oko-Flex patently wasn’t suited to that role as his positioning was awful and he couldn’t defend. The issue isn’t with him, it’s with the system. We should be adapting the way we play to accommodate players like that. Without width and pace, the messing around at the back is never going to be effective. I think most of us could cope with the odd sloppy goal if we were drawing players in and then hitting teams with quick transitions from the back. | | | |

We seem to play better against teams that come to play & have a go at us at home - Burnley, Sheff U, Watford, QPR. I expect that Boro must have something about them with the resurgence under Carrick & will come to have a go.
That said with our defence we will probably need to score at least 3 to beat them. We have Stoke & Rotherham at home before then, hopefully get some confidence from playing them ? |  | | |

I hope so, I for one wasn't two impressed at last nights performance, against what I would say is the worst side here this season.
It was the first time I've seen myself getting frustrated and angry during a game. Manning had a poor one, we didn't seem two have an idea what two do going forward, and again leaving ourselves wide open in the periods we start playing loosely at the back marking no one! |  | | |
