Gyokeres money burning a hole probably. Their personal terms would trump ours no doubt.

Will be interesting to see how much he goes for!

Personally I think we should be looking at getting 2 strikers in with the money we get from Piroe......i would be looking at Aaron Collins, Dylan Vente and even Sory Kaba 😬

Just read.....Coventry paying 8M for him 😂🙈

Even if we got a good whack for Piroe, if we are spending 8M then it's got be on at least 4/5 players and not 1.

Could be considered a bit of a gamble
That said, we need to sort the Piroe situation

Poll: Christmas. Enjoyable or not

Until Piroe transfers we will be in limbo as he will always be on someones radar until the transfer window closes.
TBH, holding out for an unattainable £20 million means the situation could drag on and we might still settle well below that figure with little or no time to bring in the players want and the fee might fund.
IMO better to take a realistic (bur not base valuation) offer sooner rather than later.
Would we have even been links
Ed to Simms had there not been the Everton / Piroe interest? I think not?
Looking at statistics suggests any ELF / PL forward available to responsible Championship clubs will be an expensive gamble.
Hold on to Cullen and Whittaker and bring in another player from overseas. The success players from Netherlands have experienced here would be a good selling point. Dylan Vente (<£1 million), Vito van Crooij (c£2 million)

Who said we are holding out for £20M, he will be gone for £11M-£12M if the terms are right.

Indeed. But less than that I’d imagine.

I know its MSN but still, I think we should be starting talks at 15mil, 40odd goals over 2 seasons, when Gorky has gone for 24million Euro's

12 million is the lowest the Swans will negotiate at. I can see them holding their nerve with this one. Only issue is if Piroe goes late we won’t have a replacement. Whittaker and Cullen don’t cut it as first choices, for me of course.

A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

Anyway, who needs money when you can pick up the likes of free transfers Cardiff are getting who by all accounts are going to shoot them to the top of the table😂

If we have learned anything, it should be not leaving too late again to start the season at full tilt
Scrambling around for new players last minute is no good

The guy Cooper wanted from Belgium is now cheaper than he was with his star having fallen. Thomas HENRY a 6 ft 3 in powerhouse. Did OK in Italy but flogged off and is now struggling in Italy. 16 games 2 goals last season Only 28.

Pretty much the same player Swansea could not afford for £6m then. Scoring in the championship is a lot easier. A Latchford sort of player. Sory Kabba took his place when he left Belgium.

I hope Watson is on the case.

Wise sage since Toshack era

Interesting to see that Dylan Vente has been mentioned and we are rumoured to be in for him.
Similar style to Piroe but a bit more robust with a good goalscoring record in recent years and at under age grade with Holland.
