Any positives? 14:33 - Sep 17 with 1414 viewsReslovenSwan1

I thought Rushworth looked good. Excellent handling. Wood was back on form and dealt comfortably with the Cardiff forwards. Pederson looked solid and can come in for Tymon at left back who had a tough second half.

Cullen always looks a lot tougher than he used to. He needs to a have a run of games. Cooper can add quick feet and increase the tempo.

Patino was OK but got a knock and that might have affected him. Yates in not a target man and Lowe is probably a winger although Cooper played him through the middle.

Grimes's radar is off for some reason. He needs a runner like Ginnelly who can score. Humphries should come into the team to freshen things up instead of Darling.

Duff has too many wooden defensive players. Wood, Darling, Pederson, Grimes, Fulton in the boiler room. None have quick feet like Leon Britton. Siopsis for Cardiff does. It means slow mechanical play. Duff cannot demand an increase in tempo then pair Fulton with Grimes and play three centre backs and no target man.

Patino was nobbled but cannot do that quick stuff on his own. They do this very well at u21 level with Congreve Liam Smith and Azeem. Grimes and Patino linking with the sharp Ginnelly and Yates has possibilities .

I think Yates is a goal scorer and might need Kukharevich next to him. I think he had Madine as his partner at Blackpool with good results for him supported by Patino.

Rushworth

Pederson Humphries Wood Ashby

Grimes Patino Cooper

Ginnelly Yates

Kukharevich

This is the issue for me. Cardiff are well up there with the worst sides we will face all year and we made it a walk in the park.

Poll: We all dream of a managerial team of Alan Tates?

My son is a Cardiff supporter (I took him down the Liberty when he was younger but his best mates are Cardiff fans and they’ve influenced his allegiances) and he reckons while Cardiff aren’t great, the Swansea performance on Saturday was the worst he’s seen from any team at the CCS in many years.😳
