Do you trust the Swans Trust on 21:27 - Sep 23 by SullutaCreturned
How can I trust them when I dont have a clue who they are? The previous board screwed the members over too.
Much as I hate him harping on about it, Resloven is right, the trust isn't fit for purpose.
Res is a very good poster like marmite but is very necessary for balance here. I like the guy because he challenges the norm and makes you think.
I am of the position on the trust , raffle your padded seats to members come back inbetween us and learn about the swans again!
I don't trust them diluted shares time and time again= no investment.
They invest and ask for the monthly fee fair enough.
If we fold at this level 10-20 mil won't be enough to save us. only guaranteed return is being in the premier League. I won't pay for a glorified fan club with no influence on the football side of the club.
When they ask for 2.50 I shake my head and ask what for? the clubs jack army membership gives you 100000x more.
What give 2.50 for your prawn sandwiches and box seats? no thanks π go and fly a kite

Resloven is a very good poster. Must be in the running this year ?
A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

I donβt think many people disagree with that sentiment. It just gets tiresome when he crowbars them into completely unrelated threads trying to start arguments that no one wants to have.
As for trusting them, I see it similarly to you. They just donβt come into my thinking any more.
Back on topic but for me the Trust today bares no resemblance to the one created in 2001 . in terms of influence within the Club its 'become an non entity which is sad when you think it was held up as an example of how things could be

This.
The trust board made a mistake when trusting the sellouts etc to attend mediation - to which no one engaged. But ultimately it was the sellouts who initiated their demise with a few false truths regarding the SHA amongst other things.

oh I've had words with him plenty of times for going off topic, crowbarring the trust in all over the shop. it s annoying, and boring.
It' also about all the assumptions he makes to back up his view when the facts say completely different.
The trust are a spent force now, I don't even think about them in any way as beneficial our club.

My first hand admiration for the massive amount of sheer hard work and dedication carried out by those originally on the Trust evaporated when they allowed the Trusts supporter director to start earning money off the club.
To be honest I think that they completely lost the plot at that time.
Nothing that I've seen since would entice me to renew membership

I didnβt realise they were run by a bunch of lefties makes my non renewal even sweeter
Come on pencoedjack we need more rainbow flags around the ground π.
Look I am a very tolerant man I don't care what anyone does just don't affect my family.
We are being preached at by the Woke brigade and it gives me a headache!
Gays carry on be as gay as you like its not worth my attention. Funny how them lot would want a rainbow as their propaganda tool? As been as Christians use to kill them and their 'Bible' says they are unclean.
I hit 30 after being a die hard leftist and that makes me cringe π¬.
Anyone who wants some lefty utopia cult that preaches Womens rights then can't tell me what a Woman is makes me π. Conserve our British Values! The trust is toast, They could of done a trust transfer a year (adding a player wages and fee funded) By the fans. The trust use to mean run by the fans, now it means a little select few that get all the perks. Their box should be raffled each week!
How many of us would pay 5-10 pound a month at a chance at box seats that month? So we could have a taste of the high life!
Think of the money that would make....
2 box tickets for every winner π Also it would show the trust put fans first.
Maybe then their lottery fees could go towards progressing the club. They put nothing in and expect respect?
Trust pay attention to this poll this is die hard SwanseaβοΈ.
ps Leftys I still like you personally as you are a part of my tribe I keep my Swansea Independent posts JACK ARMY! (REMEMBER WHATS KEITHS' SITE IS FOR)

The Trust was purposely formed to collect funds as a safe guard to protect the club if it should ever fall on hard times again, its purpose is NOT to feed the club with funds to buy players, pay players wages or to help with the clubs day to day running costs.
Its not difficult to understand. Honestly!
F-knows what the purpose of this current trust board is for mind, or what the current financial balance is, the trust in its current form is is more of a stuffy social club committee, Fan's for the fans my hairy cheeky cheeks

If our club folds at this level mate they would never be able to save it. Look at the losses over our championship seasons. They should repurpose as maintenance and keeping their shares valid. If we get back to the big time one day then they can harvest the rewards.
If we fold we are going full oldham, wouldn't prevention be better than cure?
Im not talking all in Im talking a fan funded player a season.

I disagree, although I've no idea what the prospectus/policy is of this current trust board, I think they're still trying to figure that out, one thing I am sure of and that's their intention to keep those with influence sweet, by not digging to deep by asking pertinent question's that'll rock the boat.

Thats like having a loved one in hospital and not wanting to know everything that is up and the options to sort them out.
