A very good player indeed but as WR said, shoehorned into a role that didn't suit him. Did well enough as a whole and if we were looking for a #10 we could do a lot worse, but we have bigger priorities at the moment.
Maybe one to look at again in the summer. |  |

If Walsh is injured, Patino recalled, Allen breaks down see him as a useful player to have in the middle of the park.
Didn't think he did to badly for us even playing out of position.

Gladbach Fan from Germany here, thats also a Swansea supporter.
I can tell you, we just want to get rid of him. We would probably let him go for free. I know he has been fairly good for Swansea and for a lower Salary I see no Problem him going to Swansea. But he seems to be a bit delusional though. He had 4 different gaffers and never was near startind 11. Still he tells in interviews he wants to go to low tier CL clubs like RB Salzburg. I dont see that at all.
If he would be ok cutting his salary and screw his expectations down to a realistic level, I see no problem for him joining Swansea.

A six month loan to look at him with a view to a free transfer would seem ideal. A better option than Bolasie surely who is 33. Wolf is only 24. | |

Championship player at best. Pretty good on the ball, but played out of position by Russell Martin. Quite why he thought he could play as a winger/wing back will remain a mystery. No pace and that is why he will never command a place in a top tier team. |  | | |
