| The chances of Malick Yalcouyé returning to Swansea next season on 12:05 - Mar 17 with 4849 views | onehunglow | Being a mere simpleton , I will pose this Quite brongbon a player on loan , highly rated by Prem Lesgue club then do pmybignore him Samuel Smith have every right to feel indignant as is Yalcoure Same with Casey None of our players , apart from EG VIP and Vig is a must starter and none have had sn outstanding season Our full back defending is beyond dreadful as is our inability to convert chances , apart from VIP , yet we see the often ludicrous Ronald start almost every game He’s a player exhorting greater effort from fans whilst he runs the ball into an opponent Out to touch or over the goal line We have bobbed off young Walrs at the first opportunity so why buy him For the future? If he’s the future then WE should develop him as he is OURS which given Matos thinking seems incongruous frankly Much still bothers about our club | |

| The chances of Malick Yalcouyé returning to Swansea next season on 12:34 - Mar 17 with 4839 views | AnotherJohn | As I see things, Malick has shown promise but not consistency. There have been a few games where after doing well in a previous outing he disappoints. He does offer something different, being perhaps the only midfielder we have who can carry the ball forward, but the end product is very limited (except for that one excellent goal). | | | |

He can’t be consistent of he only gets cameo roles

Same coach who prefers the pace , ability to beat defenders and crossing ability of Ronald I’m starting to go off Vitor Boundy but say fork all Hes not making the right decisions IMO Do we know better? Quite possibly Running the ball out of play then clapping is the main attribute of Ronald

| The chances of Malick Yalcouyé returning to Swansea next season on 14:18 - Mar 17 with 4693 views | EagleEye | Loan players brought in at the start of the season should be brought to cover areas where we have weaknesses or where they can improve the starting eleven. Yalcouye is as skilful as all of our midfielders except Galbraith on a good day. He has been underused, partly his fault for getting sent off, but mostly down to poor team selections imo by the coaches. There needs to be a joined up conversation between the recruitment team and the coach. There is diminishing value in playing him now as we should be preparing team shape for next season over the remaining games. Clearly the system has not been successful for most of our loans the last few seasons. The exception being O’Brien last year who was brought in to cover the loss of Grimes. | | | |

I would prefer to develop our own players and just use loans to fill in the gaps late in the window. If we need a second year on loan the recruitment are not doing their job properly, the gap should be filled by our own. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Which is exactly what Matos is doing. Most of the players brought in were for Sheehan. Players like Ward and Nunes just stop gaps. Can’t help noticing though Matos plays Nunes fairly regularly, from his first window as Swans head coach.

Similar to us sending out Bobby Wales. I noticed he wasn't even in the Hudds squad last night and has been hardly used. That' the risk any club takes.

Clearly I / we do Doubted we would have signed a player then never started him ever then loaned him out as he “ needed games” He’s obviously shyte Shouldn’t have been bought Ward , why bring in one who is clearly finished and just topping his pension up at our expense Casey released when he was clearly at least as confortable on the ball as Burgess or Cabango Samuel smith highly regarded by Chelsea but never started a game in anger Ronald starting seemingly every game EOM similar Yeah I/ we are more “ right” than our manager I won’t mention Fulton and his ludicrous pension top up

As stated elsewhere everyone is entitled to an opinion. If your best argument is that ‘the manager knows best’ maybe football forums are not for you

We all think we know best Sometimes we do most hate passing the ball backwards and sideways without purpose This is stupid Players who do so are That they do doesn’t make them hated It’s what they do

| The chances of Malick Yalcouyé returning to Swansea next season on 18:43 - Mar 19 with 3660 views | Treforys_Jack | Wow no prob, obviously touched a few nerves. Just ask yourselves how many managers are we going to accuse of being blind and not seeing the obvious. All opinions are welcome apart from individuals who constantly snipe negativity, nowhere to be seen when we win yet all over the forum when we lose. Your opinion counts for very little when that's how you conduct yourself. Vitor is the most pragmatic entertaining manager we've had for quite a while, nowhere near the finished article and his subs can definitely go wrong. However the critism from especially one individual is unwarranted. Thats my opinion if that's ok guys ? | | | |

A very valid post. Personally I feel that the players we brought in the summer we bought to play one way and Matos wants to play another. Again only my opinion but we need to aquire players and managers to fit a style and not continually have square pegs going into round holes.
