I am always reminded of a corporate lawyer who when asked about the legality of a particular course of action would say ' Are you asking me if there is a reasonable argument to go ahead, because that is a different question. '
Whenever a lawyer opens their mouth, pay attention to every single word.

The BBC covering a story that a couple of years ago they'd never have gone anywhere near suggests that they're being nervy about the upcoming Charter renewal. As an organisation it's not been fit for purpose for a long, long time.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

We need lawyers to interpret laws
Laws are passed by politicians
Many politicians are lawyers

I think there is a follow-on episode from the investigation tonight which is about using alleged domestic abuse as a way of staying. My guess is that fraud is rife and takes multiple forms. The "refugees welcome" crowd have made us all look like gullible fools. Nor is the BEEB blameless when it comes to its previous stance.

Verbal domestic abuse falls within the criteria, that really opens up for fraudulent claims.

Bit more on the subject, but Labour saying that things are rigorously investigated is laughable.
I wouldn't trust them to tell me the time.

Not watched it yet but it's been going on for years in London certainly before the 14 years of the Tories - I can't believe the BBC are only just cottoning on to it or just maybe they have finally grown a spine and have started reporting the uncomfortable facts that make the luvvies squirm in their Islington echo chambers....?

There is a whole industry dedicated to this ruse full of shady "immigration lawyers"earning a nice living at our expense and allowing all sorts of miscreants into the country with ILTR.

Walk down most streets in the likes of Bow, Whitechapel, East Ham etc and there are business premises soley dedicated to this endeavour. I've chucked todays copy of Metro but they used to advertise in there and also in the local newspapers. I'm sure they still do.

Absolute racket - fraudulent and denying those that really need refuge a olace at the table.

You'd hope for prosecutions but I won't hold my breath with Comrade Starmer at the wheel...
