I have sensed a bit of a sea change in the BBC in the last 6 months they seem to be getting less like Guardian TV and reporting things accurately, more investigative journalism around controversial subjects etc....dare I say it less 'woke' and more 'factual' reporting. Also seem to be making decent programmes again rather than the low IQ televisual sewage they've been pumping out in recent years. Have they finally realised their target audiences for it are more interested in following influencers on TikTok YouTube etc...?
They have publicly said they need to win back the loyal viewers they have haemorrhaged and with the Royal Charter up for review next year it seems they are trying to claw back some of their credibility with the traditional viewership that grew up with Aunty Beeb....

Yes indeed they didn't give them the vote for years, they were paid less for doing the same job, they had to walk a few steps behind their husbands.
That is their culture, we worship the likes of Boadicea and Gwenllian, we have the laws of Hwell Dda giving women rights that it took the English a thousand years to try and catch up, Irish women had the vote before English women, the Welsh was the first Parliament to have 50% female representation in the World and Irish independence and Welsh Senedd are historically relatively new things, these English incomers do have a different culture like you say. |  |
