Former Premier League ref Mike Dean has admitted to some 'antics' on matchday :
"There used to be games where we'd have a laugh. We used to say, 'We'll kick off now, right and we'd see how long we could go without blowing the whistle'. I've done that a few times in the Premier League before VAR.
We went 20-25 minutes without blowing the whistle!
I used to do another thing in the Premier League. I used to stand in the centre circle and see how long I could stay in the centre circle before I had to leave.
That was just me joking about. Got about 15 minutes once in one game without leaving the centre circle."

"Centre Circle Len"comes to mind with regards to staying in a central position on a football pitch even over in Cwmdu olaying five A-side on the green ribbed carpet. You knew what you got and didn't question his decision, much. A lot of respect for lot of refs in the Swansea senior league, no or very few impartial linesmen making it an almost impossible task with very little thanks for their time and effort. |  | | |

You’d like to think he made that decision because he got mullered in the head by that coin thrown from the crowd, but we all know he would have given that penalty anyway.
Worst ref I remember seeing was that league cup game against Scunthorpe down here in ‘09.
They were kicking absolute s**t out of our players, yet we ended up with 3 red cards I think it was.
Pretty sure we finished the match with 7 men. 3 reds and used up all the subs when Dobbie got absolutely smashed. Can remember fans waiting outside for the ref after the game as well lol. |  | | |
