What was the program? It baffles me why anybody in Swansea actually supports Glamorgan anymore. They're effectively just Cardiff. As mentioned, they regularly played here, arguably more often than they did in Cardiff, then as usual they got given it because evidently they weren't getting enough. For me, they're just another Cardiff team now sadly. | |

Local cricket dying too. The Saturday Central League gone as well as the mid week Industrial League. If you want to play now you have to join what I consider to be the big sides, like Mumbles, Gowerton, Civil Service playing in the South Wales leagues. Without sides like these there would be very little junior cricket development. | | | |

It's depressing.
I ve come back having passed our village playing another in a league fixture watched by spectators and a junior section who just finished.
Club cricket very strong here and especially in Cheshire.
Just why Swansea seems to be losing even cricket teams is beyond me.

Apparently the council are also screwed......the City region project....they don't have the necessary funds to make it happen. I'm sure the WAG will subsidise the whole thing.
