Normally any Achilles injury takes a full 12 to 18 months to heal with adequate rest and that's without surgery, looked to me like he was favouring his right shoulder as well, age time and injuries have caught up with Mr Haye. | |

That partying playboy style does rather catch up with many a great pugilist of panache/style whom once upon a time had great lateral movement, defensive ability, great reflexes, footwork, speed and punch resistance etc.
Seeing the likes of Lloyd Honeyghan and Mike Tyson turn into slower, flat footed, semi-static, easy to hit punch bags that no longer had the durability to absorb punches they could once could take all night screamed out drink some Tizer and go to bed early instead. |  |
