It is not a shame ,more scandalous . We didn’t NEED to sell. Norwich in contrast are fending off interest in Buendia by valuing him at 40 m. What we had for JR was allalling. I fear Cabango will go for another derisory fee . These owners need to go. Are we that unattractive a prospect to buy.

Swansea took a CLN loan to pay the bills and do urgent maintenance such as urgent defects to the stadium and replace the playing surface and sign Latibeaudiere, Manning and Bennett. The CEO stated in Covid circumstances the club was living off transfers and money from the owners. If the Trust want to avoid dilution then the CLN needs to be repayed. Rodon might even have told the club he did not want to sign a new deal. Plenty of cover available. If you are a distressed seller you sell and replace buying off other ditressed sellers in this case QPR and Wolves and take on highly rated cast offs from the super rich. JL.

Thanks you for at least a decent respone.Loans!. My point entirely. Just how did we become so poverty striken. We live off loans, cardiff are able to purchase players so they are not sent back to their clubs during a loan spell ,which we are shafted by so why is it we are so utterly bereft of money . They’re probably wishing they could send half their players back.

Cardiff buy, they have no immediate plan, we invest in identity. Best I can do. I think Keith's article today in due diligence sums it up.

Think they're up to about £90m now, and that's after a low spending year in the Premier League. If that's the approach some people prefer thankfully they have no influence. Did tan do what he promised and put all debt into equity? What that means I have no idea but read things before.

Absolutely no reason to undersell Rodon AND accept £10mill pound of debt. The trust and dilution has nothing to do with this so don't derail another thread with your propaganda

Not according to the Basseys. Vinny T's net worth has halved in the last twelve months according to Forbes so it's unlikely that he'll be rushing to write off nigh on £100m any time soon.

BUT...the fact is they ARE able to purchase.Seemingly we cannot and that begs ,or should beg, questions of our club. Owners with some financial clout would catapault us into a position in Welsh sport where our dearest capital cousins would never cathc us. We remain a club of huge potential. Do we not see it.?

He converted loads but the debts keep growing. Championship clubs don't make money. Promotion doesn't solve every problem, either. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/44731272

Or is it part of the project plan Not committing to players not needed next season as players used to get us promoted may not be what we need need in the PL and we are not wanting to commit to financial contracts loans can sometimes be a try before you buy.....we made enough mistakes in the final years of Huw Jenkins

I'm convinced they wasn't mistakes the resigning of bony when everyone could see he was finished for what was it 18 mill the re signing of ayew,at the time was a bad deal for another 18 re signing Marvin emnes when laudrup said never heard of him,I'm convinced there was backhanders going on with agents to get Jenkins re sign these players and the agents giving him a bung,...seems strange he fell out with laudrups agent as he was bringing all the players in and then Jenkins wasn't getting his cut..there was transfers that we would have never done clucas another 17 million Jenkins and the agent must def had something going on.too many that just don't make sense..

Call yourself a true fan? We have as a club used the loan system frequently especially during our rise....Jordi Gomez,Fabio Borini,Gylfi Siggurdson,Jonathon de Guzman.....all loanees who helped in our rise and development but folks on here have selective memories...or maybe werent really there.....

Spending on overpriced players is something which got the Club in the mess in the first place, as you're aware we're second in the table with a tight decent squad , cardiff spending money, and its's been shown many times before, hasn't brought them anywhere near to what we've achieved .Potential is something them lot keep spouting about , they say it, we fulfill it.

That means he effectively makes a bonfire of £90 million and sets lights to it. He already owns the club 100% creating more equity has no effect. Might be a way to get around financial fair play rules.
