We have been saving quite a bit and now some of those savings are permanent as my wife is now allowed to work from home 3 days a week, saves us over £100 per month in petrol alone. She always spends more in work too, always off to the shop at lunchtimes. Lockdown has paid for a lot of work on our garden. | |

I've saved £5k, just by not doing things we would have done and not going to the office. My daughters family allowance has gone straight to her premium bonds to.

The further left the economic system, the more concentrated privilege becomes in those at the top. The rulers of the USSR, Cuba, North Korea etc lived like kings whilst the people starve.
Capitalism at least offers anyone the chance to make a killing. Not many who inherited their wealth at the top of the rich list these days. It does need some Governmental control though. |  |

The Rothschilds as a family are worth around 450 billion. What we have on the rich list today is the individuals, Gates, Bezos, Musk etc. Inherited wealth is till towars the top of the tree though, and will be firmly there once the 3 I mentioned have passed their wealth on.
