I feel he could do better but its a step on the ladder for the lad

Was only going to be a matter of time before someone came in for him, was getting noticed a lot by the pundits last season. Quality player, good luck to him if it happens

Would be a terrible move for the lad imho, if it is the case he could welk be playing Championship football again before to long.

So a new contract at Chelsea and loaned out or signing for a Premier league club to be involved in their regular match day squad....he has made the brave choice.

Superb player, fingers crossed that he takes the next big step 🤞

When he came to us he was a trainwreck in his first few games. Now he's making his club £20m. Another Swansea City development success story lol.

I'll watch his progress to see where he is played and when.
IMO he doesn’t have the height or leap or muscle to be an out and out CB.
Ideal position for me would be in front of a back 4

That looks to be an awful move for him. They'll likely be the worst team in the English Premier League next season.

Hopefully he can find somewhere better.

You think Crystal Palace will finish below Brentford?

Below the other promoted sides. Below Brighton. And Southampton? And Burnley?

That is what you think is ‘likely’. Not possible, but likely.

Just to check what you are claiming.

As of when I posted that? Absolutely.

Their squad is very weak, numerous players are out of contract and their star player is desperate to leave. In addition, they have an inexperienced manager with no track record of rebuilding an already poor squad.

I can see Joel Ward has signed a new deal within the last hour or so, and the incoming transfer of Guehi certainly improves their predicament. Perhaps my opinion will change depending on who else they are able to retain / bring in to the club.

If they sell Zaha I also believe they will finish bottom.

Big job for Vieira to turn them around.

That said I want Brentford to take Derby's lowest points tally.

Hey Dwight not seen much of you since the English bottled it against the Italians ?, fair play to England they played their absolute best, it's no shame on the English national team that they were second best at home to the Italians as they tried their best, just Italy were superior to the English.

Continually being banned by Planet Swans for Porthcawl and then being reinstated.

I think it's very likely they'll struggle and finish below most of those.

Exactly, when I saw him first I thought, he'd never make a pro footballer as long as his ar*e pointed downwards.

But he blossomed into a really good player that served us very well, good luck to the lad.

To do what was claimed they’d have to finish below all of them.

Although I note backtracking has already started.

I also think it’s very possible that they’ll struggle. That’s not anywhere near what was being said.

Maybe we should think about starting our own academy?
