St. David was kidnapped and taken into slavery by the Irish, this was commonplace at the time. Do Ireland owe Wales reparations ? (in your esteemed opinion)

I wish we could charge Ireland for the clean up after their erstwhile "travellers" have desecrated yet another area of this country of ours.

I mentioned those travellers once and it was pointed out to me that they should basically enjoy their human rights over here. I view them as rats. Nothing good at all about them. Their roofing work and driveway repairs are crepe too, even though they are kind enough to take the poor buggers to the ATB for cash peayment. As regards Jamaica,if they get that,it will be some party over there. No need then for anyone who originates from there ,and who hates this country ,to stay here as the poverty there will be wiped away and all will be sweetness and life.

Strange the Irish travellers are not allowed to park their caravans anywhere they like, con locals with shoody building work, then fly tip, before leaving their site with their mess. Where does this not happen in the ROI of course. Perhaps we should police the ferry ports and return them home on the next ferry.

| Jamaica on 11:40 - Jul 15 with 1619 views | Dr_Parnassus | I have a lot of sympathy for the Romany Gypsies. I think they are currently the most oppressed race in Europe (actually oppressed). I understand their crime rate is high and going to Paris and Rome has become a bit of an annoyance as there does tend to be gangs there praying on tourists, but that wouldn’t be all of them that way inclined. But they seem to be the acceptable victims of racism which utterly is bizarre to me. | |

20 yrs ago,Wirral had a huge problem with them mainly due to the easy access from ROI. The damage was considerable. I was i/c basically of having them "removed" and it was a learning curve allright. The females are well versed in being "harrassed" and are experts in defecating and urinating in front of authority imply to shock them. Very clever people though. Very cash wealthy too Tax free existence but they can access OUR NHS

Romany Gypsies are not Irish "travellers " ,and I'm quite happy to admit that if given the opportunity to discriminate the against the Irish then I would quite happily .

Genetically no, culturally yes. So much so they he long been thought to be linked through ancestry. Both Irish travellers and Romany Gypsies are treated the same. From segregation to schooling, to the denial of entry into establishments. It’s the acceptable face of racism. Can’t get my head around it personally.

We pay in, just like the English railway project that is costing a fortune, Wales is paying towards it for no benefit to Wales. Here is the impressive Liz making the point, its unfair and biased.
