Swansea City v Hull City : Expect to see brave and exciting football today 11th Sep 2021 09:00
It has taken time, and at times when it has gone wrong swans fans haven’t displayed that much patience, such is the way of the world these days. However today we will see a more vibrant Swansea City side than has been witnessed in the previous five league games. 0

Reads great, looks great but Im afraid I am so utterly unconvinced as we do not have the staff to do that. Prove us all Russ.
He can come up all the old pony he wants but when three attackers are bearing down on our keeper the last thing we want is for him to stroke it 3 yards to full backs to then lose the ball and gift goal. THAT is the reality I'm afraid.

Right now,I ahave never felt so depressed at to what might lie ahead becaue if we lose the next 4 games -as is possible-we are in deep doodoo land and people can post all the positive prose they like but it wont change the fact we have the wrong players and the wrong manager to see the club recover from the relegation we had that was so avoidable-also by the wrong manager.

Playing pretty when you are in relegation land will please few and that is fact.

What we need, starting today is a WIN,no matter how it comes, disputed penalty would be ideal or a rebound off Ntcham's backside. The game is all about winning .Period.

So,starting today, let's have it Russ and no excuses.

So you did not want Cooper - fair enough
You don't want the current Manager - perhaps give him a little time
So who is the right Manager?

As I’ve said before, lose the next six games and he is going nowhere. The positives are what we should be concentrating on even if Hull win 3-0 today. And there will be positives, it’s about time we all expected the swans to have an average season without the usual stuff. Swans fans have been spoilt, moaning when we get to the play off final, moaning when we get a new manager, moaning when we lose a few games, and moaning about a future we as yet don’t know.

Crazy.

However, thanks for your responses, we are as one come 3pm today.

A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

Absolutely! There are those among us who remember the late 60s and 70s.
But we still support our team.

For most of my 60 + years supporting the Swans being in the 2nd division was but a dream.

Late 50s, early 60s they were entrenched in Division 2. Then it went horribly wrong and culminated in us almost going out of business. But as with the Petty debacle, the fans pulled together. So the subsequent promotion to Division 1 was all the more sweeter as we didn't feel entitled. A lesson to be learnt for these times.

I seem to be entrenched in the Premier League era and still find leaving it behind hurts.
Others never got past having to go to Workington or Boston Utd.

Most people expected this season to be a rebuild season. Most people were quite happy to wait until later in the Autumn before even beginning to form an opinion about RM. Obviously there are still the trollish and, let's just say "less thoughtful" types who can't wait to put the boot in, but the majority know what kind of job he's got on.

He's had a solid two weeks to work with the team both in fitness and in ongoing ethos so I would expect to see improvement on the last game, but we won't be the finished article today. As long as it looks like we're moving in the right direction most will be happy.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

As were practically all the seasons before back to relegation.
I think the term is having a "fluid" team with very little stability, always rebuilding and re-arranging.

Brave ?
Exciting?
All depend really.

600 passes though !

We truly are dire and no amount of Russy speak can cover that simple fact up.

Even when chasing a lone goal win,we pass backwards and forwards and cannot get people into the box .

Russ needs to work on that goal thing.

Your club?

You hate the city and rarely miss the chance to slag the club off Richard. It's mind boggling that you spend so much time hanging around the website of entities that you clearly have so little regard for.

This goes back many years Jamie to the Robbo days and your pure hatred, the like of which we are seeing again. You really need to let it go.

I hate you for sure make no mistake. You represent all I detest as regards our club .

It is my city and always will be ,warts and all. You have also appended negative comments.

Swansea is no nirvana ,never has been.

Now ,what about debate.

You can’t do it can you.

You never could

You never will

Meanwhile ,enjoy the work on progress

It appears that patience is in short supply with some , did we see a much improved performance today , you bet we did, are we the finished article no way, but I enjoyed todays game far more than the previous 3 so for me combining performance and the entertainment I'd say we're heading forward rather than back .On another day a two goal win wouldn't have flattered us with some of the interplay being excellent , yes the ball could at times have moved quicker forward and I'm sure it will once the players get used to each others movements .The 2 down side for me was not only we failed to win but at the end the muted boos from the corner of the east stand , seems there's a few not only on here but in the "real" world who are expecting us to play fast expansive football all in a matter of two weeks.
