More important to keep Piroe and not mess him about ,as is the same with Downes and Ntcham,who are class acts . Clubs come in only for our better players .

The only point of bringing loan players is to allow the like of Joseph to get extensive game time and games under their belts. He needs 40 games as does Cullen.
Swansea should give Cullen to Wrexham or Torquay in the national league on loan. He will need to deliver.
Joseph, Garrick and Joseph have enough quality to force themselves into first teams. I would not recall them for 5 min cameo. It is about their development.
Every one forgets about Garrick. I like the player who is very versatile and overcoming his injury issues. |  |

I think that most teams in the Championship and certainly all teams in the Prem, they now buy players who are not necessarily ready for the first team but with one eye on the future. It is a shame how many fall by the wayside and without our relegation from the Premier league, arguments could be had if James, Mcburnie and Joe Rodon would have moved onto Premier league teams and we would have got the fees we did get for them.
In the Championship there is more scope to start players with potential but ultimately if they are not ready them the obvious thing is to loan them out preferably to a team in a division lower and monitor from there.
I don't think Cullen is ready or will even be good enough for the level we are at but I think Whittaker has every chance, football has gone so soft now, sending them out on loan to the lower leagues doesn't even toughen up like it did years ago and arguably that is what the 2 lads need along with boosting their confidence. | |

We needed players desperately to start.We needed a ballsout striker and we signed Whittaker and were then told he was one for the FUTURE.
Whittaker is being mishandled in a way that ,to me ,is quite shocking. As bad as any player has been and there have been a few;Celina a classic example. | |

Whittaker may as well be gone as he obviously isn't rated by Martin
Cullen is busy but lacks discipline (positional / play)
None create much for themselves or make assists. Without Paterson we are quite toothless.
