Frank Burrows Obituary24th Nov 2021 15:14 ‘He has a bit of a mad look in his eyes’ That was the first thing I was told about Frank Burrows. The second thing I was told was ‘He is a great man manager, if you listen to him’ Frank was at Swansea City for four seasons, he took the club to Wembley, and a victory in the Autoglass Final, for that alone he stands with very few who have managed our club. In1991 he led the swans to a Welsh cup final win against Wrexham in Cardiff.0

Says a lot about the man that both Swansea and Cardiff fans hold him in this kind of regard. Not many people ever manage that.
Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

This is true….his promotion/ Welsh cup win at the vetch with us in 87/88 was my 2nd season, he put that team (Gilligan, earnshaw, Curtis, platneur, Boyle) together for peanuts. A proper old school tough guy. God knows what he would make of todays youth.

If I remember correctly he got a rough ride for his first game or two being ex Cardiff but that changed very quickly . I can’t remember the game (possibly the auto glass away semi final leg - Wycombe maybe?) when after a pulsating game he said “any more finishes like that they’ll be burying me at sea - like a Viking!”
A great great man who brought much needed pride and joy back into our club. A big loss to the football world - night night Frankie - you’ll never be forgotten by those of us privileged enough to remember you as our boss.
Each time I go to Bedd - au........................

A firm foot in their groin, and then get sacked.
A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.
