On and off the pitch.
It’s ok he is still with us, over 200 games for the swans. Inc friendlies and a game we had in the corridor of the Marriott. Freestone was in goal, I beat him from two yards.

Skilful play, not much speed though. Done a very good job at Swansea.

A great captain and should have had more caps for Wales.
Could have been brilliant in an ambassadorial role for the club.

I'd actually forgot he represented Wales.

Great player for Swans, his passing was a level better than anyone else.
Leader, winner, and goal scorer.

Chuffed with his wales call up.

I think he lived in Loughor…. But maybe not ?

A lovely modest chap.

I really liked him. He could pick out a pass.

I remember one to Maryin Hayes in the FA Cup away at Newcastle United

Hayes past it to the Newcastle keeper?

I was on the bus that made up the whoops a daisy Martin Haysie song on the way back from that Newcastle game 😂

Looking at that photo two County links Rodger obviously played for us twice and it's still a mystery to this day where his transfer fee went probably could have saved us in 80s

And John was our manager for a while

Super Jonny Cornforth loved that side that got to the Play offs in 93.

Was gutted when Andy Legg Jason Bowen Des Lyttle and super John got sold.

Jon Ford too was a decent purchase and went as well.

John was up at West Brom this season, he is often at games up there. Also does stint in hospitality at home games a few times a season.

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Super John was apt , was great for us , his only failing was his speed, everything else was top notch.

An educated midfielder, a tad pedestrian at times who has been already said could pick a pass was a a prominent member of a resurgent Swans team under Frankie Burrows.
