My concern is RM clearly saw that and thought it was good. That is such a scary thought and a sign how detached he is from reality. What planet is he on exactly?
I refuse to think they released that without his permission. In his head he sounds like Pep but unfortunately he has the knowledge of Pip from Cwmtwrch and it comes across in spades.
Blackburn have seen it and thought the same as us, it’s cringeworthy and insulting to the rest of the league. No wonder they shouted some stuff in his direction (according to RM).
“Guess what? We will stop running soon Russ!” is a ready made line for the opposition. To essentially state how much better we are than the opposition in this league where the “game is yours” simply because they will be chasing a keep ball training session for 90 mins is toe curling in the extreme.
Especially when the bloke hasn’t won in his last 8 matches and the very next opposition smash him 3-0 at home.
I don’t see a way back for him now. He’s losing the fans (lost the sensible ones long ago) and I’m sure he’s losing the majority of the players by the day. That is a tough position to come back from unless your ideas are sound and you are willing to adapt and work - he doesn’t fare well in any of those areas.
It’s game over for him. It’s now simply about how much of this season is going to be wasted before we pull the trigger. | |
