A lot of talk about it over the last few months, I knew some of the graphs put on here having us as a top 8 budget team was fantasy island stuff as we're some of the wages mentioned.

Reality and understanding.....Two key words I consistently pushed.

Poll: Are the owners doing enough for Swansea City

Are you saying that people shouldn't always believe what they hear/see?

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

"Still making money" I have to ask, how much profit do you think the club is making?

When the annual accounts become available and we have made a loss, do you believe them or not?

On the news earlier I saw MK Done were moaning about their electricity bill, apparently it's 2 million per year so we must be up there somewhere. Running that stadium isn't cheap but people don't seem to take everything into account, they seem to think only the first team costs money!

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Come off it . These posters know the truth. Since the US consortium has taken the majority of shares they must have taken at least £500 billion out of the Swans, used petty cash to run DC United and pay Wayne Rooney, sold our £200 million players for peanuts so we can remain in the Championship because it earns them more money and raised prices to keep fans away.

So what work are you saying the Americans do. IMO they pay people to do the work and have an investment they are looking after, with hopefully a long term return, is the best they can hope for.

Exactly my point we are just a business to them nothing more nothing less as long as we spew out a James,Rodon,Roberts or make on a unknown they will be happy, the next time someone comes sniffing around Piroe he'll be gone because by their own admission the money well is drying up season by season.

No, I am saying that the club costs a lot of money to run and when we sell a player for 12 million the owners don't simply pocket that money.

I'm saying the club loses money over a regular Championship season so we need to sell a player or two to stay viable.

I'm saying that you can't compare your job to owning a football club.

I'm saying look at Derby because they are a great recent example of what happens when you continually spend more than you have coming in and do we want to go down that road again?

I'm saying our accounts show the reality of things and if you think the declared accounts are fraudulent and the owners are pocketting millions then prove it.
We are not the only club in this position, indeed we are far better off financially than many other clubs, we are stable and viable and I'd like to stay that way.

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?

Wasting your time.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

I think some on here would rather us end up like Derby.
Im no fan of the owners and think theyve made a fair few mistakes, but the fact we are still pretty financially stable after relegation and covid is great.

If anyone believes that the Americans have/are taking money out, they should provide evidence. They would soon have their wish to be shot of them for fraudulent accounting. Otherwise they should play another tune.

Update from the owners they are at the conclusion of the loan note conversion.

Don't think we got to much to complain about really.

Apart from giving Jenkins to much clout in the early days of the takeover they have been decent owners.

And are continuing to be so.

You could take flak for that but I generally agree.

An argument could be made that in fact we've actually been overspending in recent years, hence the requirement for the Silverstein involvement. Whether the blame for that can be laid at the feet of Covid deficits is another argument.

As I've said before, I don't really care who owns the club as long as they do their best to keep it sustainable. A lot of criticism of the current owners is justified, a lot of is is idiotic, and a lot of it is based on little but bigotry. Americans can't be allowed to be involved in football.

Besides the dividends that we have no proof of, what about the debt? We have what Winter described as manageable debt, doesn't that answer you? How much debt do you think is manageable for us? Or, how much more debt do you think is manageable for us?

Just my opinion, but WTF do I know anyway?
