Can you believe their supporters want him gone already, and it’s not just a few.

A great believer in taking anything you like to wherever you want to.

They are used to big name managers, Potter is an excellent manager but not what they are used to. He has a hell of a severance deal if I remember correctly.

Yup, I believe it. They think that they’re entitled to the success that Russian money bought them

Yes.
Lots of "fans" and their clubs are so entitled and expect instant success.

Newcastle will be the next on the list of many who forgot where their roots lie .

Yep.
Guess the difference with them is they have always had massive and genuinely passionate support but rarely the success to match

Yep, a few more bad results and he's another one through the Stamford Bridge revolving door.
World Cup could be his saviour though with it being on the horizon.

Then the Premier league starts back a week before the window opens. It's a crazy crazy season.

The money men as per usual, flogging players to death like the old pit ponies, only that the players are far far better rewarded, but my point still stands, some players won't be able to walk come their mid forties/fifties with whats expected of them these days.

Platini and Blatter mostly.

The football world could have taken action years ago and prevented a Qatar World Cup but it chose not to. When Infantino was allowed to take over FIFA it was clear that "Business as Usual" was the order of the day.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Well their fans do anyway.

To think some of our fans are pretty entitled about how well we should do, those top 6 fans are a different level of delusional.

Judas III doesn't have the tactical nous to hack it in the Top 6......won't last the season....

I rate Potter very highly, there were whispers he had turned down a few clubs. I was suprised he went there to be honest. Will he be given time i very much doubt it but before long there will be only a few teams with a long term manager. Arteta would have been sacked if some fans had their way, I remember that tosser Piers Morgan calling for his head if im not mistaken.

I find it hard to wish any manager who ever leaves us to do well, I take an instant dislike to them.

Rodgers (who in fairness signed a contract before leaving) being the worst culprit probably because of that poster of himself on his house wall on the Liverpool documentary & him obviously loving himself.

I’d imagine it’s like being dumped by a bird ( never happened to me ) you’d never want them to be happy after.

Chelsea went for older experience defender who while is still a stand out player cannot hide the fact they lost a rock in Rudiger who hasn't been replace yet.

To be fair I don't quite get this, i think most people would take a new job if it mean a promotion (going up a division) or a payrise.
Managers who have done well for us and left us in a better place I find myself wishing them well. Martinez, Rodgers both helped build our club and their input was invaluable.
Guess im just not as bothered, same on the misses front, better to get dumped and moved on. Wouldnt wish unhappiness on them but am ambivalent to how they get on.

Everyone wants to better themselves or move up the greasy pole its human nature isnt it? Players and managers do it for the money as it can be a short career, even some of our club legends have left for a higher standard. Sometimes its their choice sometimes its the chop. Thats what makes it such a fickle sport these days.

I doubt abrahamovich would have gone for potter , Chelsea went for quality under him , never went for other teams rejects like sterling or aubameyang , potter might be given more time with the new owner but Chelsea fans need to get real , the glory days are over

The rise and fall, it happens but with all the money in the game the margins at the top are getting smaller what will happen to Man City when Pep moves on or his star players get older (Fair do's to Pep if he sees a drop in standards he is swift to move players on but I suppose with the money he has available he can get suitable replacements)

Chelsea paid 22 million to get him away from Brighton, but now it seems he has two games to prove his worth.

Oh hang on, that’s loads of time 😂
